Yes, all of my fruit trees have buds on them. This could be a disaster for me. Last year I lost my apples and peaches to a freeze but my pears did well.

The Ford supplied carpeted mats are too small to protect anything. It makes me want to cry that my hankie is bigger than the driver's mat.

I'm thinking about 17's too. Thanks for the info. I'd be interested in seeing what you think of them. I'd like to find someone who would want to trade 17''s for 18's. I still have an extra set of 17's from my mustang and I don't need more wheels around. So many people have mustang wheels for sale that they don't bring much. Too bad I can't swap the tires between the fusion and the stang.

The USB is a 2 way communication device by design, while anything plugged into the Aux input is one way only. When the computer can no longer talk to the usb device It considers it non-existent, closes the driver and goes on with computing.

We are headed that way in a few weeks, but traveling across I-80. It will be a 20 hour drive, so I guess it will be forget the mpg and pour on the mph. I'll take 35 if I can get it but I'm expecting more like 30. Please let us know our overall trip mpg once you get back. Should do much better on the trip home as it will be a decline in altitude to about 800 ft.

You haven't accidently named your destination home or somehow given it a similar name to something else? I could see an instance where you tell to go there and it thinks you are already there.

I got caught in traffic in metro Vancouver in January and saw at least 5 Tesla's in a 4 block stretch of the main road heading out of Stanley park. First time I spotted on in the wild, and suddenly I was in a pack of them.

Can we set a sticky at the top of this forum with the instructions to take to the dealer when we get around to asking them for the 13 & 14 builds? My car has never needed service since I drove it off the lot and I'm still about 5K miles from the first oil change. I know I'll be hunting all over the place for those instructions when the time to take it in comes.

Mine (2014) stays on when I shift into drive. I have to release the brake (Un brake the brake) manually. Is there a setting to change this? Is my brake broken?

One of the issues of driving the hybrid is the dirty windshield. I have stopped at gas stations to wash it without buying gas. I'm sure it drives the folks inside crazy as they watch to make sure I'm not doing a pump and run.

I really liked the Avalon hybrid. I drove it a couple of times and almost bought it. I think the A pillars are narrower and give me a better view out the sides. I've owned 2 conventional Avalon's, one saved my life in a crash on the interstate and the second one went over 200K miles before we replaced it with a 2010 Merc Milan HY. Now that we are empty nesters, I don't need a car that large and I didn't want to really pay the price the Avalon commands. That said, I'm not at all disappointed with the Fusion, I really like it. Getting ready to take It on a road trip to Utah soon. I'll test it on those mountain grades, lol.

Kim, I added destinations and get the traffic reports, but I don't see the destinations in my nav listing. Where do they show up? Or do I need to add them a second time to use Nav to get there and monitor traffic on the nav screen?

Figure a way to clip a baseball card on the side of your wheel like you did to your bike when you were younger.

Where did you get them? I need new strips for my ipass and I'm too lazy to wait at the toll plaza to ask for them.

So this thread would indicate that I could leave my grill blockers in place until the daily low temperatures average above 50F to get the best mpg, It seems unless the highs would be freakishly high on those days, I would not damage the care from overheating during the warmer commute home.
