  1. Overall mileage I calculated at 36.9, though the car was showing 37.4. I set the tire pressure at 42 before we left. We were mostly driving 4+ speed limit of 70-75 on interstate, and did a lot of high country back roads. Not much hypermiling as we had so many miles to cover in 10 days. The car was fairly well loaded and we had no issues with it at all. (Maybe a few places the Nav was confused or didn't know where we were.) Traveling across Wyoming and Utah, I often couldn't get a usable signal for my phone to check maps or listen to Pandora, so it was a good place to have the Nav.
  2. Near Park City, UT. This is as far as I'd go.
  3. Just finished a 3200 mile trip across the Midwest from Illinois to Utah. Got to clean up the car this weekend. Any recommendations for cleaning up the bugs? I put a fresh coat of Turtle Wax paste on the care before we left, so I'm hoping they will wash off easier. The bugs don't seem to interfere with any of the sensors. BTW, the car did just fine an 9,500 ft elevations and handled the mountain highways and back roads with ease.
  4. I recently saw a mustang with a 3g iPAD installed in the dash. I think the conversion was actually done with commercially available dash parts that made it look factory. You can run any app on it and play music through the sound system. It was quite impressive.
  5. How much is the data without the music? That is more in line with what I need.
  6. Is there a way to adjust when the auto headlights come on? It has to be pretty dark before mine come on, so I frequently find myself manually switching them on in the evening.
  7. I started driving a 2010 Milan HY that was in my sisters estate. It was about a year old and had 4K miles on it. I never even considered a Hybrid, but we really liked the car and bought it out of the estate. We eventually traded it for a 2014 Ti HY.
  8. The ambient lighting on my cup holder just quit working.
  9. I'm thinking about having some sun roof decals made up and selling them on ebay. I had a hard time finding a Ti Hy without a sunroof
  10. I like the Travel Link but I don't use the music much. (I prefer my Pandora One subscription. They are raising the price on that too, so it may go too) My subscription ends on July 1. I also received an offer in the mail yesterday similar to Inco's. I didn't think it was worth the money, but If I could get Travel Link at the right price I'd take that. I'm about to go on a cross country trip, but I'll be back before my subscription expires, so I might be singing a different song by July. I expect I'll get a better offer from them once it expires.
  11. I don't miss the back seats that don't fold down on the earlier generation FFh
  12. Thanks bear. About to make a trip from central Illinois to Salt Lake City. I'll have to give it a try. To bad I can get this forum on Sync.
  13. $23 Bucks? I don't think so, thank you.
  14. But, if it stayed on the USB, people would be complaining about having to switch it back to radio once they unplugged their USB device.
  15. The MFT nav. loves to tell me to "make a legal U turn" but that ain't legal around here.
  16. If I go snow tires, I'd go with dedicated winter tires instead of the Michelin all seasons. Thanks for the heads up on the 16's bear, that is probably the way to do it.
  17. LOL. I hate to say this, but I actually enjoyed last winter. I like snow and we don't see too many winters like that one very often, so I really appreciated it and made the best of it while it lasted. (Yah, I go to Canada and ski in January, so I'm a real freak to my neighbors that take cruises to get away from the weather.)
  18. Your dealer actually repaired something instead of remove and replace?????? Get out the Delorean, fire up the Mr. Fusion and plug in the flux capacitor, I'm ready to go back in time and rescue you.
  19. I like the look of the 18's, but they are hard to clean. I don't think the pay off in gas savings is enough to warrant the expense of buying replacement wheels and tires unless I could trade or find take-offs cheap. I think I'd spend more on replacements than I will spend on gas over a couple of years. Maybe it would pay if I decide to get winter tires on 17's, but I don't expect too many winters like the last one (The odds seem pretty low) for a few years and we managed to get through it ok.
  20. So my 18's will soon become collectors items. :love_shower:
