  1. I was chatting with Rebecca @ Ford and she provided a way to reset MyFord Touch without restoring it to the factory defaults and losing the presets, connections, etc. "Download this to an empty USB flash drive and keep it in your car: http://outofmytouch.com/reboot.html It comes from one of our updates and has a delayed reboot file on it. One of our customers did all the "dirty work" and made it accessible on that site. I have confirmed that it's safe to use. It's as good as a master reset without setting everything back to factory defaults." When you download this, remember to extract it directly to the root of the flash drive. Don't extract it to the PC and copy it to the flash drive.
  2. Hi everyone! Good news! I'm in the process of joining the Ford Fusion Hybrid Forum community! In case you're wondering why this is good news, I'll share some reasons. ;) By the way, I’m Kim. I'm going to be the Ford In-Vehicle Technology representative on this forum. If you have questions regarding SYNC, MyFord Touch, navigation, SiriusXM, or MyFord Mobile, I'm your girl! I'll be scanning through different threads and jumping in where I can provide helpful information. I'll do my best not to miss anything, but feel free to message me directly if you need me. You may have noticed that I'm not the only Ford representative who recently joined. Here's a link to Ashley's welcome post. Click here to see what types of questions she handles: http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/8045-official-ford-service-rep/?p=71669 I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you! Let the questions begin! Kim
  3. so i was waiting for a parking spot and it was cool outside so i turned the car off and when the spot opened up i turned the car back on and this came out instead of my compass I have a base SE with only reverse sensors. Does this mean i can buy a MFT and add it since that and fog lights are the only things i wish i had
  4. Okay, after playing with things, I finally have MFT 3.5.1 working with my iPod touch for bluetooth music and my SGS3 for phone connections. Here's what I did: Under Phone:Added a phone as the primary connection (911 setup, voicemail, etc.)Clicked on my phone in the Bluetooth screen and under info, unselect BT StereoUnder Entertainment:Scroll to BluetoothClick add a deviceAdded the iPod TouchSaid no to the favorite/primary phone prompt (Yes even though this is an iPod touch MFT believes it is a phone.)Start playing musicUnder Phone:Go to settingsGo to BluetoothClick on the phone and connect If done correctly, you'll see two blue sync icons, one next to the iPod, one next to your phone. You can turn off your car and turn it back on, it'll reconnect correctly. ------------------ That said, here's the down side. In my testing, after turning the car off and back on, the audio started skipping from my iPod. Seems this is a known problem with audio streaming via Bluetooth. When I first connected there wasn't any skipping, so it is possible. My next task: Getting the SGS3 to display test messages. The SGS3 supports MAP, it even gets the request from the car, but won't display the results. I haven't figured out why yet.
  5. From the album: Splendida Futuris (Bright Future)

The Home Screen of the MyFord Touch Screen is easy to navigate. From here you can select climate control, phone, navigation, and entertainment systems. By using the Ford sync system, many of the controls can be voice activated allowing you to keep your eyes on the road. Speak a full address into the system at one time, change the temperature or adjust the fan speed, call a friend at work, or say the name of your favorite Sirius Satellite station...all without hunting for buttons or knobs. As an added bonus, you can upload 32 photos that can be used as the wallpaper image on the home screen. That's a different photo for every day of the month!

  6. From the album: Splendida Futuris (Bright Future)

With the MyFord Touch screen and the Ford Sync system it is easy to control the climate in the interior cabin. Through preset options, the Fusion Energi will heat the seats and heat or cool the cockpit as necessary. By using the app, you can start your car remotely and even schedule it to be ready at a certain time of the day...allowing your Energi to use the available electricty supplied from the charger rather than from the battery.
