  1. Good; I'm glad everything is running smoothly again. The master reset is a great troubleshooting step but it shouldn't ever become routine. If you notice this concern returning, let me know. Kim
  2. Hi Ken Boyer, Here are the instructions on how to perform the master reset: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/perform-master-reset-sync-myford-touch Once your system has been reset, pair your iPhone again: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/pair-your-phone-sync-myford-touch During the pairing process, make sure you're following these steps to allow text messaging: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/how-to-allow-ios-text-messaging-sync-myford-touch Don't be overwhelmed with the amount of links I posted; I promise the steps are easy! :) Give me a shout if you need clarification on anything. Kim
  3. Hey keybman, You're welcome. I'm with you! I'll admit, there have been times where I've laughed out loud at Samantha when she pronounces a funny song title (even when she's correct). ;) Kim
  4. Hi djminfll, I always recommend making sure you're running the latest software version available from: www.Support.Ford.com if you're having voice recognition issues. If the examples that you described above only happen every once in a while, I don't recommend doing too much troubleshooting. If it happens every time you use voice commands, there are a few things you can do. Adding a last name to your phonebook contacts, for instance, will improve voice recognition through SYNC. Instead of saying CALL MORTY HOME, you would say CALL MORTY SMITH HOME (obviously changing the last name to the correct one ;)). It also helps to understand how the voice commands work. It sounds like you're saying everything correctly, but I'll post the link anyway: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/understanding-voice-commands-sync-myford-touch I encourage you to check it out! Hey keybman, You'll find some tips about how to manage your phonebook for SYNC here: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/manage-phonebook-sync-myford-touch It's worth taking a look to make sure your settings are optimal. :) Kim
  5. I can understand why you're concerned, but I can assure you that the vehicle is in good hands. Be sure to communicate any concerns you may have to your CSM to make sure they are addressed properly. I see a PM from you in my inbox. I'll take a look at it and respond shortly. Kim
  6. Awesome news, dijital! This one was a tricky one. Thanks for keeping us in the loop. You know where to find me if you have questions in the future. :D Kim
  7. Welcome, Neil Mackey! As GrySql mentioned, we’re here and eager to help out if you need anything. I handle concerns related to MyFord Touch, navigation, and SiriusXM. Ashley handles most of the other stuff. :) Check out her introduction for more info: http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/8045-official-ford-service-rep/?p=71669 Enjoy your new ride! Kim
  8. Thank you. It was fantastic! Hey Joe, I just sent you an update on your case. Check your PMs for more info. :) Kim
  9. Thanks for letting him know, hybridbear. :) Sorry to leave you hanging, Joe! I'm back from vacation and I'll respond to your PM shortly. Keep an eye out. Kim
  10. Hey guys and gals! I'm stopping by to let you know that I'll be out of the office until next Wednesday. I decided it was time for a vacation. :) My co-workers will be checking my private messages while I'm gone, so feel free to send your SYNC-related questions my way still. Kim
  11. Please DM your VIN, current mileage, and best phone number. I'll let you know what I suggest. :) Kim
  12. Hi Joe, There sure is! I'm the In-Vehicle Technology rep, Kim. To access the camera settings, press the 2 gears > VEHICLE > REAR VIEW CAMERA. Check out page 182 of your Owner's Manual for more details: http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/Catalog/owner_information/2014-fusion-hybrid-OwnerManual-version-2_OM_EN-US_11_2013.pdf Kim
  13. Hey Easy Rider, I'll pull up your case and see what is going on. Keep an eye out for a PM from me. Kim
  14. I'm glad to hear that you received the call. Send me a PM if anything changes and I'll update the notes of your case. Kim
  15. Hey Sleddog, That's what I'm here for! ;) Please send a PM with your updated mileage (I already have your other info)? I'll be happy to take a look at your account tomorrow. Kim
  16. Hi Howie411, What is happening with MyFord touch? I'll let you know if there is any troubleshooting I can suggest from home. Kim
  17. Hi bz101, Although the SD card doesn't contain traffic information, it can affect how your routes are calculated. If you choose to reroute after receiving information from SiriusXM Traffic, the system will use the map information from the SD card in order to calculate the best route. Thanks for the mention, GrySql. :) Kim
  18. I try my best, hybridbear (even though I ended up being wrong). ;) I'm stumped! It's hard to tell if the issue is with the map information, the navigation system, or some other type of interference. Do you mind sending your VIN, mileage, and best phone number in a PM? Please include the address of the church as well. I'll document your concern and let you know what I recommend as far as troubleshooting goes. Kim
  19. Hi dijital, Since you're able to to navigate to the church from other locations, perhaps the incomplete map data is near your home. Does the same thing happen if you enter a different address or POI while you're still in your neighborhood? Are you able to navigate to your home address from a different location? Do you receive any error messages when you get closer to home? Kim
  20. Thanks, Easy Rider. I'll update your account. :) Kim
  21. You're welcome. I received your PM and I'll respond shortly. :) Kim
  22. Hi Easy Rider, Please send me a PM with your VIN, current mileage, best phone number, and full name. I'll submit your suggestion and have it associated with your account. Keep an eye out for software updates at: www.Support.Ford.com You can check the current software version right from this website (like jeff_h mentioned). You can also check from the MyFord Touch screen by pressing the 2 gears > HELP > SYSTEM INFORMATION. The last 5 digits of the CCPU number will read: 13171 if the latest software (V3.6.2) has been installed. Kim
  23. Hey Easy Rider, Since the resource that neod192 posted was not created by Ford, I am unable to suggest this as a troubleshooting option. The master reset is available within the settings of the MyFord Touch system, which is why you will see me recommend this procedure time to time. Hi tr7driver, When adding a destination on our website: www.Support.Ford.com it will ask you to name it. Once you save a destination, your active phone must be connected to the MyFord Touch system to access it. Press the VOICE COMMAND button on the steering wheel and say SERVICES. From there, you can request directions via voice commands to the name of the saved point that was added. Once it appears on your MyFord Touch screen, press SAVE TO FAVORITES. This will save it to your actual navigation system. Kim
  24. Hey Bryan, Would you like me to submit your feedback about the navigation system? If so, please PM your VIN, phone number, mileage, and your suggestions for improvement. If you're noticing actual addresses that are not showing up correctly on a map, I encourage you to report them here: http://here.com/mapcreator/ Kim
  25. Hi Easy Rider, I certainly am! Although the master reset is the best reset option available within MyFord Touch, the system should not require a master reset on a regular basis. If you find yourself having ongoing MyFord Touch concerns that require this reset, I suggest visiting your Ford dealership to see what is going on. I'd also like to point out that if you have an active subscription to SYNC Services, you can also add your favorite navigation destinations right to your account. Even after performing a master reset, you will be able to access these saved points. Visit this page for more information about SYNC Services: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/sync-services-overview-sync-myford-touch Send me a PM with your VIN and mobile phone number if you'd like me to check if these are available for your vehicle. Kim
