My car keeps hugging me
FordService replied to CCalvinN's topic in Interior Trim, Seats, Seat Belts & Covers
Per your Owner Guide: Safety Belts - page 30 All safety restraints in the vehicle are combination lap and shoulder belts. The driver safety belt has the vehicle sensitive locking mode. The front outboard passenger and rear seat safety belts have both the vehicle sensitive locking mode and the automatic locking mode. Vehicle Sensitive Mode This is the normal retractor mode, which allows free shoulder belt length adjustment to your movements and locking in response to vehicle movement. For example, if the driver brakes suddenly or turns a corner sharply, or the vehicle receives an impact of about 5 mph (8 km/h) or more, the combination safety belts will lock to help reduce forward movement of the driver and passengers. In addition, the retractor is designed to lock if the webbing is pulled out too quickly. If this occurs, let the belt retract slightly and pull webbing out again in a slow and controlled manner. Thanks for following up. Please send me a PM with your VIN, mileage, best daytime phone number, full name, and dealer name/location. I'll send this up the chain. Have you spoken with your dealer about this? They'll be able to check to see if there are any service actions tied to your VIN. Are you currently experiencing any symptoms connected to them? Hi Steve, Were you able to get the other items taken care of? I want to loop in your customer service manager on this. Please send me a private message with your VIN, updated mileage, best daytime phone number, full name, and dealer name/location. Meagan

2014 FFH transmission replacement
FordService replied to Chris Campbell's topic in eCVT / Transmission
I'm glad to hear everything's running smoothly! :) Since I'm not a technician or engineer, I'm unable to diagnose the root cause of symptoms, so I recommend keeping in touch with your dealer to hear if they have any updates. Are you currently experiencing any symptoms related to your transmission? If so, I recommend heading to your dealer. Once you have an appointment set up, please let me know. I'll look into some options. Meagan -
Hi Tomo, Welcome to the forum! I want to help get this straightened out. Please send me a PM with your VIN, mileage, best daytime phone number, full name, and dealer name/location. Thanks! Meagan
