I can't get the radio to work
FordService replied to wreckedcar's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
I was able to get an answer from my parts Subject Matter Expert on this: "With the vehicle off just briefly hitting the start/stop button without your foot on the brake will put it into accessory mode. Some cars display a brief message in the message center indicating it’s in accessory mode. The way a customer would be able to tell is the cluster should be off, meaning cannot use the message center in the cluster. If they press and hold too long it will go into Run mode which will allow the cluster menu functions to be used. If they press and hold with their foot on the brake then it will go into ready to drive mode with the cluster on and the green ready to drive light coming on." I hope this helps! Meagan -
I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that the battery is not covered under the Powertrain (5 year/60,000 miles.) The good news is, your vehicle’s unique hybrid / electric components are covered during the Hybrid / Electric Unique Component Coverage, which lasts for eight years or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first. • The following hybrid parts are covered during this extended coverage period: high-voltage battery, hybrid continuously variable transmission, Inverter System Controller (ISC), DC/DC converter, high-voltage battery connector, battery pack fan assembly, thermistor probe, Hybrid Battery Pack Sensor Module (HBPSM), Battery Energy Control Module (BECM), and the PHEV onboard charger. And now for the bonus extra good news: I can set up a case and send it up to your customer service manager, who'll work with your dealer. Just send me a private message with your VIN, updated mileage, best daytime phone number, full name, and dealer name/location. :D Meagan

Oil Change Info for 2013+ Hybrid/Energi
FordService replied to jeff_h's topic in Maintenance & Do It Yourself
-Swoops in- Here's what I was able to find on a quick resource search. 2013-2015: Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor (standard across all Fusion Hybrids) • An advanced system that calculates the oil change service interval based on actual vehicle use and operating conditions – up to 1 year or 10,000 miles.• Conditions that could accelerate an oil change interval include towing, short-distance driving and driving in extreme temperatures• When ENGINE OIL CHANGE DUE or OIL CHANGE REQUIRED appears in the message center display, it’s time for an oil change• The oil change must be done within two weeks or 500 miles of the ENGINE OIL CHANGE DUE or OIL CHANGE REQUIRED message appearing• The Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor must be reset after each oil change Here's the info for Energi2013: (from the Owner Guide)Fusion Energi Plug-in HybridYour vehicle is equipped with the Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor® system, which displays a message in the information display at the proper oil change interval. This interval may be up to two years or 20000 miles (32000 kilometers). When ENGINE OIL CHANGE DUE or OIL CHANGE REQUIRED appears in the information display, it is time for an oil change. Make sure you perform the oil change within two weeks or 500 miles (800 kilometers) of the ENGINE OIL CHANGE DUE or OIL CHANGE REQUIRED message appearing. Make sure you reset the Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor® after each oil change. See Engine Oil Check (page 237). My resources show it's standard for 2014 and 2015 Fusion Energis, but that same resource only shows the regular oil monitor for the 2013 rather than what it states in the Owner Guide. So, for anyone with a 2013 Energi, it may be best to check with your dealer, but I'm showing the rest of the models having the IOLM. Meagan -
Of course I did! You, too! Cobra! Great to see you! I was wondering when I'd bump into you here. :D Meagan
