acdii Report post Posted September 5, 2013 ... at least not in a hybrid ;-) for some people those two words are never spoken together in one sentence.Only those driving Toyota Hybrids! the Handling of the new Fusion is what prompted me to give it a second chance, and so glad I did! 1 corncobs reacted to this
Riggo Report post Posted September 5, 2013 The dealer gave me a rental while my car is in the shop. A 2014 Toyota Camry. I hate it! I want my car back!! :runaway: 2 djminfll and acdii reacted to this
acdii Report post Posted September 5, 2013 Mine is in the shop for the bumper repaint, and a few other items. Turned down a loaner since I have the Flex. The more miles I put on the Flex, the better the gas mileage is getting. The lifetime is at 21 now, and my last two fills have been well over 21. corncobs Report post Posted September 6, 2013 Saw what I believe was a HyTi in RR on Rt 14 & Main in CL today. I didn't get a good look since he was turning left as I was just leaving straight with the green light.
djminfll Report post Posted September 6, 2013 (edited) After barely ever seeing any FFH around Fort Lauderdale, today I saw FOUR - another black one passed me on the highway (I was using ACC at 62mph), there was a RR one parked at the supermarket, a white one was going west while I was driving east, and a neighbor had one parked in his driveway, but it was a visitor. And has anyone else seen the commercial for Safelite (windshield repair/replacement) where he comes to the ladies house and she has a FF (not sure if it's a hybrid or not) in, of all colors, Ginger Ale! corncobs Report post Posted September 6, 2013 Yes and I thought the same thing " why on earth did they pick Ginger Ale " maybe it makes the FF less attractive not taking away from the message about windshield replacement. 1 djminfll reacted to this
acdii Report post Posted September 6, 2013 Saw 2 white ones, within 1 minute of each other going the other way from me yesterday, but did not see a single one today. Wont be seeing mine for at least a few more days. :(
acdii Report post Posted September 10, 2013 I saw at least a dozen today, and 4 of them were hybrids. One poor TB hybrid had side swipe marks on the passenger side. :(
s-one Report post Posted September 11, 2013 I'm seeing them everywhere in SoCal. In fact yesterday I pulled up right behind one the same as mine, color to boot. After getting an idea of how my rear looked driving, I finally passed them and the guy driving looked over slowly, then looked forward, then did a quick head look back. (double take) lol.. and on my way home I saw a plug-in Fusion. My first.
kuzzi Report post Posted September 11, 2013 TB SE on BW8 near 290 this morning. Black 2010 FFH on Katy Frwy heading to BW8 and white SE on N Frwy near 1960.
corncobs Report post Posted September 12, 2013 Today was a good day for Fusion sightings. First a rare Ginger Ale. Before heading downtown we went to lunch and I had to park right next to this one not a hybrid "just" a 1.6l EB 1 Toz reacted to this
hybridbear Report post Posted October 27, 2013 Saw my first HyTi on the road today around Minneapolis. Prior to today all the FFHs I had seen were SEs. It was ruby red. Very beautiful color 1 Toz reacted to this

corncobs Report post Posted November 1, 2013 I saw the first FFH cab in bright yellow at the airport and two cars behind a C-Max Hybrid.
djminfll Report post Posted November 1, 2013 We have quite a few FFH cabs here, I always see them leaving from, and going to the airport. The Escape hybrid made sense to me as a taxi, but not the FFH, unless it is in a big urban area like NYC where people hail a cab from the sidewalk. But in smaller cities like Ft. Lauderdale, people call for a cab, mostly to/from the airport, or they queue up at the airport to pick up fares. I would imagine they have to pass on a number of possible fares because the trunk is too small to swallow luggage for more than 1 person.
MaineFusion Report post Posted November 17, 2013 (edited) Just took a week trip from Saco Maine all the way down to Williamsburg VA with stops in NJ and Northern Virginia (about 1,500mi) and only noticed one other 2013/2014 FFH during the entire trip. I was a little disappointed as I was hoping to see more of them along the way. I don't speed so there was more than plenty opportunity for them to pass me both coming from the other direction and overtake me from behind. I have taken to favoring parking next to regular Ford Fusions and Toyota Prii in parking lots to give their owners a chance to see what they are missing. GrayStrider Report post Posted November 18, 2013 Saw my first FFH Energi yesterday - a beautiful black one with a pretty dark tint job. We drove side by side for a short stretch, gave them a thumb's up, but couldn't see the driver through the tinted windows. Beautiful vehicle. Still happy with our color choice, the Sterling Metallic Gray - love it!!
vangonebuy Report post Posted November 18, 2013 I see about 5-10 Fusions a day lately. Saw a white one and a blue one together in a Harbor Freight parking lot.You know I had to put the Ruby next to them... Too dark for a good pix though. One or two of these hybrids also. 1 hybridbear reacted to this
aaronj1159 Report post Posted November 18, 2013 (edited) Saw this Fusion last night in Almost Human. Looks like it's going to be a good show, and the car looks great! Correct me if I'm wrong, but that looks to be an Energi? Wingmn Report post Posted November 18, 2013 (edited) I had a 1993 Saturn SL2 that had the defrost in the back window. I had the windows tinted before we took delivery, and I did end up having the back window redone several years later when the film started to bubble. There was no problem with the defrost embedded into the window when they did the retint.I still have my 93 SL2 :) I made the mistake of removing my rear window tint on my own the wrong way. I damaged my rear defogger lines, repaired a few, but still have not fully repaired them, not hard to do, but if I would have removed it the correct way, there would have been no issue at all... Just realized that my quoted post was from March, sorry all.... No longer a pertinent reply.... Edited November 18, 2013 by Wingmn
