Seeing other 2013 Fusions

Finally saw another Hybrid in my neighborhood. I was waving like a crazy person until I remembered I was in DH stupid Scion TC not my BlackWing. :doh: :hammer_self:

It was a white FFH not sure what kind as it was going the other way. I will have to keep an eye and see if they actually are in the area or just driving thru.

I'm surprised I don't see more Blue ones, if I had not gotten the Ruby Red I would have gotten the Deep Impact Blue. It is a stunner.

Saw my first hybrid brethren today. Ice Storm. We were sitting in opposing turning lanes, so I didn't know if he was a hybrid or not until we both turned. I could see him eyeing my orange Ford badging though!

For car that has been out for less than a year, today I saw one in nearly every color. White, Black, Silver, Gray, Ginger Ale and my wife saw a Blue one. Only ones I didnt see were BR and RR. I couldnt tell if it was Oxford or Platinum White.

 

6 in one hour of driving!

Southbound on Rt 53 this morning he was exiting for I-90 or Algonquin Rd.

It looks like he/she has the same window vent visors as thavil, but his is Ice Blue!

The first pic is blocked by my Sheriff's decal and my "95 Express" sticker (hybrids can travel the express toll lanes for free!)

The second pic was taken at 65mph, probably would be clearer if I wasn't driving alone and had to take the pic myself!

 

 

 

Was that an Energi? Did you see the license plate?

Wow, would you have noticed another FFH if you were driving? Whoever was driving this one didn't seem to notice me at all. I can tell you that the pic was taken between the Oakland Park Blvd exit and SR84/595 exit of I-95 going southbound.

I'm always on the lookout for other Energi's but I have not see others yet. I have seen a couple of Hybrids, but as you say, they don't notice me at all.

 

That for sure wasn't because I have not been that far north in a while. The farthest I have been lately is to FLL Airport.

I live in Miami Lakes, just west of the Palmetto on 154th St... Very close to the Don Shula's Golf Course.

The current Motor Week TV show features a test drive of the Fusion Energi. Gives it a nice review, along with Fusions in general

This week has been full of Fusion sightings including a few FFH and an Energi. Today saw all colors except RR and Platinum white. now had CC driven by, it would have been a nearly complete lineup, I even saw a rare GA.

Oh yeah and I forgot a Platinum White Fusion on our way to Walmart but I couldn't see the model.

Just a suggestion - you should not post pictures of license plates of cars that don't belong to you. The car thieves and house bandits love it.

Ice Storm Fusions are always hybrids. This is a FFH exclusive color for 2013.

There are three Fusions, besides my FFH, that I've seen parked in my parking garage on a regular basis. One is painted Ice Storm so I know it is a hybrid, but I haven't looked closely at the other two.

This is not a disagreement, it is just a question - why would thieves love this? If I add a picture of a car on this (or any other) site and the license plate is showing, that doesn't mean the person isn't home now. Anytime a person drives their vehicle, their plate number is visible to thieves, right?

The picture showed the license plate, the state and the post even identified what area the car was in the time. The picture (not this one, as it was taken down) is on the internet for ever. Thieves scour the internet looking for license plates to run and they get the owners name, address and other information available through the DMV. I know first hand that this happens. I've known organized theft rings that will find a plate in one state and sent it to the state where their friends are.

 

Sure a potential thief can see the plate while driving around, why create and avenue for the bad guy where they don't even need to leave their house to get the info?

Saw my clone at Wal-mart today. Was another Ruby Red FFH SE. Will have to be extra careful from now on to be sure the car is mine! Also saw a white FFH Se a few days ago in a restaurant parking lot in this area.
