Seeing other 2013 Fusions

I literally see dozens of Fusions every day, but I live in a very popular car rental area. I did see one Fusion Hybrid today, white SE, but most are ICE models.

Weird, one of my neighbors has a grey Fusion Ecoboost, but it has the Titanium exhaust pipes. I guess he had it done custom.

As long it's a 2.0 EB it's standard IIRC.

One thing that is kind of cool, we have a whole fleet of taxis here that are regular Fusions.

The SE 2.0 ecoboost comes with the dual exhaust.

Thanks corncobs and hermans for the info about the 2.0 ecoboost exhaust pipes. Now I'm wondering why they cancelled them on the Titanium Hybrids? Ford does quite a few dumb things!

I didn't think yesterday's Fusion day was toppable but it was during lunch.

 

1 FF 2.0 EB Ti was in our office parking lot

3 FF I saw driving by at the restaurant

2 were in the that parking lot (1x FFH)

2 more driving back

 

Update:

+ 5 on my way home

+ 1 Model S

 

That's a total of 19 in 2 days.

( I think is there something wrong with me noticing all of them ;) )

I followed a white one this morning. It got in the left turn lane to the road I turn on, but I dont turn there, I turn at the Wendys. I got ahead of it, dropped off my wife and passed it again while it was in another turn lane.

I saw a yellow cab Fusion today on the beltway, they are regular appearances these days.

 

One thing that is *not* a regular appearance is what happened just as I was driving into the merge area where the HOV lanes end - I was in a single lane and heard a light 'plunk' and then this rested on the bottom of the windshield against the wiper. So was it a) Manna at the HOV merge; b) a bird with really good aim (or slippery claws)....

Last night getting on the freeway a White Platinum FFH passed me. We got off the same off-ramp, he turned right as I turned left. At the only stop sign before reaching home, a White Platinum FFH turned right going the opposite direction. Adding the different White Platinum FFH parked at my favorite restaurant the day before along with mine, and the latest photos posted here, I say WHITE PLATINUM RULES!

I park next to the white fusion in the picture every day. I'm soooo glad I didn't buy a white one (no offense to those that did). :)

The dual exhaust was never a feature added to the Titanium trim, it is a feature that gets added with the 2.0L EB engine. Since all Ti gas models have the 2.0 EB engine, someone at Ford probably goofed and said that the 2.0L HyTi model would have dual exhaust too because they didn't realize that dual exhaust is on the Ti gas because of the ICE, not because it's a Ti.

I've had both white and black before and would never buy another car with those colors....except for classic muscle cars. Triple black is a much sought after color.

It an S gas 2.0. The sad thing is the guy that drives it really does appreciate all of its features.

Hahaha on Friday I was driving alongside an older couple in another "Blizzard Pearl" Prius and they looked at us and waved lol

Just saw a HyTi in the ditch from having an accident. It didn't look too badly damaged but it's still very sad.

I could check out who the driver was since I had to rescue wife and son from a dead battery.

We were in Miami last week and we saw a lot of Fusions. We also saw at least 15 FFHs, including the one in the ditch mentioned above. One noteworthy thing is that we didn't see a single C-Max.

Believe it or not, I saw my very first Fusion Energi today - I was beginning to think they were banned from Florida!

I'm also adding a picture from a particularly positive fillup - I'm maintaining 47mpg so far, hoping I can keep it for the rest of the tankful!
