  1. Agreed, POS. I literally had the thing completely crash on me. It froze and would not allow any input.. so I just said forget it and drove and the thing rebooted itself in 10 minutes while I was driving.
  2. Great tips on this thread, thank you for sharing!!
  3. ^^ same here. Feel much better about long road trips.
  4. I'll have to check with my ford dealer on my next oil change because I'm having the same issue.
  5. Wow that Android Auto thing is cool! Thanks for sharing.
  6. The last i check the all weather cargo liners do not fit the hybrids because of the battery. Here's the link when I asked about it too.
  7. Thanks GrySql :-) Just an update, I double checked the placement of the metal protector that I put on and I did have it budded up against the trunk opening. So yea what you see in the closed trunk pics is how far it'll stick out. If you're handy you could probably cut the front edge of the protector some so it doesn't show with the trunk closed but then you'd have to ask yourself if it's worth paying that much for it to later trim it. I have to also add that if you are looking to protect the bumper with the metal product and don't want it to stick out so far, be prepared to add some kind of protection... the clear or Ford sticker to the part of the bumper edge that's visible. The whole idea here is to help protect the bumper from scratches when moving things in/out of the trunk and the top edge of that bumper can easily catch a scratch. Just saying.
  8. Sure here is a couple with the trunk closed:
  9. Well not everyone can tolerate the sight of scratches on their investments no matter where it's located. It is no different than when Ford puts them on the bottom as door sills to help with scuffs or scratches from getting in and out of the car. Your example with the crate would require more protection even if you had a bumper protector. So using a towel is a good idea regardless. If you happen to scratch the bumper protector with something like a crate, at least for the metals protector like I have if it gets too bad I can simply replace it. Significantly cheaper than having to get the bumper repainted especially if I want to sell my car in the future.
  10. Yeah the one I order from eBay was shipped from China. To Cali it took roughly 2.5 weeks. It does stick out a tad bit but that's because the bumper extends the trunk. I'd say no more than a couple of millimeters. But it's not that bad and does help when the kids are sliding their backpacks from the trunk to the bumper (grr). Thinking about it, I'm not sure if I placed it budded up against the trunk lip which would probably not show the couple of millimeters if I did. But I'm not 100% sure. BTW I did not order from that item above just showing a better picture that they had.
  11. I order mine from ebay.com but this site has a better picture of it. I guess my picture makes it look like bubbles but its just the etching.
  12. Well I did the metal version.. it doesn't cover the entire length of the bumper but it was easy to put on.
  13. I'm seeing them everywhere in SoCal. In fact yesterday I pulled up right behind one the same as mine, color to boot. After getting an idea of how my rear looked driving, I finally passed them and the guy driving looked over slowly, then looked forward, then did a quick head look back. (double take) lol.. and on my way home I saw a plug-in Fusion. My first.
  14. Aw mine doesn't show that. Only shows Trip Summary.
