I just liked your post and it didn't even refresh the page. The like button just updates to unlike - I'm using Chrome.

Is that a reality TV show? Do people still watch those ? :)

I wonder if these are better/last longer than the Ford blades. Can we just change the rubber on the factory blades? In my VW Gti I've always only changed the rubber and it was cheaper than changing the whole thing.

I've only had 3.5.1 on mine, so haven't had the pleasure to experience 3.2.2 :) 3.5.1 seems pretty stable, it only crashed twice while I spent the whole day playing with it and pushing all the buttons! I'm pretty happy with it.

Enjoy the car and keep it under 75 mph. Don't worry too much about mileage.

Using L instead of D for faster ICE warmup

Are you sure? I didn't see it as an option, or I would've added it. It's standard in some northern states (free), and not available in all other states. Sure, the dealer cold order all the parts and put them in after the fact, but that's not done at the factory.- 20 replies

I'm pretty sure it's in the dashboard. -
2013 HyTi Sony sound system. Sub woofer?

Where is it? -
I hope you're kidding... Think "mouth".

Well, I got it back again! :) This time it looks great. They fixed the fender correctly and it's flush with the bumper. They replaced the piano black trim piece with one that looks much better - still has a few very faint scratches that I can't really see - and it has the correct Park Assist button! They also detailed it, so it looks brand new again - PHEW :)

I was chatting with Rebecca @ Ford and she provided a way to reset MyFord Touch without restoring it to the factory defaults and losing the presets, connections, etc. "Download this to an empty USB flash drive and keep it in your car: http://outofmytouch.com/reboot.html It comes from one of our updates and has a delayed reboot file on it. One of our customers did all the "dirty work" and made it accessible on that site. I have confirmed that it's safe to use. It's as good as a master reset without setting everything back to factory defaults." When you download this, remember to extract it directly to the root of the flash drive. Don't extract it to the PC and copy it to the flash drive.

I had that problem (iPhone 5 and Nexus 4) and the system ended up resetting itself. Things went back to normal. I mentioned it to Rebecca @ Ford and the first thing she asked if I had an iPhone - so there are some issues with the iPhones that Ford is still trying to pin-point. She also provided a method for resetting MFT w/out restoring it to factory defaults: "Download this to an empty USB flash drive and keep it in your car: http://outofmytouch.com/reboot.html It comes from one of our updates and has a delayed reboot file on it. One of our customers did all the "dirty work" and made it accessible on that site. I have confirmed that it's safe to use. Have you bought an extended warranty?
neod192 replied to brcd131's topic in Owner's Manuals, Warranties and User Guides
Did you buy it from the dealership? floodford.com has it for $1,590, $1,260, $1135 or $975 depending on which deductible you went with. I'm thinking of buying it too, but I'm not willing to pay 2k for it. $1,135 with a $100 deductible seems more reasonable. -
They hooked up the park assist wires to the EV button, so it still works. The fuel button doesn't do anything - and I don't have a park assist button anymore. I dropped it off this morning again to fix their mistakes ... Update: I might have mis-read your question. In an Energi with Park Assist the buttons are smaller, so there's actually 3 buttons there instead of just two.

Ambient Lighting

All Titaniums (Gas, Hybrid, Energi) have it, including mine. I have pics of it in my gallery (see signature). -

What's that saying? A picture is worth a thousand words? Here's the explanation: http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/6441-cracked-chipping-paint/

That paragraph only applies to the Energi, which has a pressurized fuel tank. I have the fuel button in my Hybrid, but not by choice...

I guess the honeymoon phase is over? lol!

Good point. If my mileage improves after 1k miles or so I can remove my first few fill-ups. If anyone wants to look at my comments they'll see that I only filled up once so far :)

Hey, at least they hooked up the Park Assist wires to the EV button, so I can still have the car park itself ... The gas button doesn't do anything. I can pretend I have an Energi !
