BS = bull shit! :)

Did the C-max also see a price increase, like the Fusion?

anyone who HASN'T heard the cracking/popping/clicking noise?
neod192 replied to clummus's topic in General Discussion
660 miles and no noise in mine yet. There's still time! -
I took the city route this morning. About half is 45-50-55 MPH and half 35 MPH.
-
hybridbear also had the breakdown between the c-max Hybrid and Energi. I think his parents are looking at a C-Max Energi.

illuminated door sill plates?
neod192 replied to clummus's topic in Interior Trim, Seats, Seat Belts & Covers
That's an option on all Fusions - it costs extra $ and you can buy it when you order the car or later. -
Here's a pic of where the water hits the windshield on mine. Most of the water is on the low end, but the whole thing gets splashed. So far i didn't have any issues with the wipers not being able to clean the windshield.

Do you know when it was built? It might have been a job 1. I saw a job 2 Titanium (I knew it was job 2 because it had the Y wheels) that had the touch buttons, so I wonder if they only made the change on the Hybrid/Energi Fusions ... Edit: The note that went out to the dealer says only the Hybrid/Energi Tis are losing the Aluminum pedals.

I did not know that! I'll have to check it out :)

I got the battery up to a maximum charge (I was stopped when I took the picture). The '13 Hybrid only goes up to 62 MPH in EV mode - I was burning gas!

Sweet! Look up the VIN on Etis and check the build date. What type of buttons does it have for the sunroof: physical push buttons or touch buttons? Bush buttons are part of build 2. Common sense tells us 2 is better, because they fixed many issues identified with build 1. While you're looking it up in Etis, see if there are any recalls/service items on it. Make sure it has the energy flow on MFT - that will tell you if it has the most updated version of MFT - 3.5.1. Umm, I looked at your original post again - since it's a Hybrid Titanium, it'll be job 2 (they didn't make them until February this year), it will have the push buttons and it'll already come with MFT v 3.5.1 (with the energy flow screen).

That's it! I only saw it once on my map and it didn't give me any options to avoid it (other than me clicking on it and select Avoid). I muted my guidance, so maybe that's why it didn't talk to me? On this picture, is it giving you directions or were you just looking at the map? PS. I love the 91F temps!

Ventilated Seats Anybody?
neod192 replied to smr2112's topic in Interior Trim, Seats, Seat Belts & Covers
LOL, just curious - why are your posts always cutting off and moving to the next line in the middle of a sentence instead of wrapping at the end of the page? -
So the other day there was a traffic jam on the highway and an icon showed up on the map. For some reason it wasn't showing up when I checked the traffic on my route or traffic nearby - only on the map. I could click the icon on the map to get details (saw it was listed as congestion), but the Nav didn't change the route to avoid it - yes, I have that option selected in the settings. I also saw a tiny yellow line next to my green route line - I'm assuming that was telling me traffic was backed up? Is the TravelLink Traffic supposed to show traffic jams on the Traffic window or just the map? Why isn't the traffic line more obvious and why isn't it re-routing me ... ? Maybe the back-up wasn't bad enough to save time by taking a non-highway route?

I was watching this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=zAY3HFwqAqU#! And realized that my Nav doesn't give me any route options. It just picks one and starts giving me directions. I have the eco/shortest/fastest options in the menus, but can't select them when I start a route. If that just a change with the new versions? Also, how do I see a summary of my route on the map? Since I know where I'm going most of the time, I want to see if the Nav picks my usual route or a different one.

It's less than a minute. They have to log in to the website, enter the order # or VIN and click one button. There's one more click if you want to see the full history :) Some dealers run this for all open orders, every day - that's how they get their order updates.

Ventilated Seats Anybody?

"The ventilated seats will only function when the engine is running." HAHA They would never be on in the Hybrid :-p -

Oh, I didn't realize there was a HTML version of the manual! I thought MKZ too, but edited that post and it didn't make it back :-p -
HAHA! I was running late and set the cruise at 83. Was going mostly 77 due to traffic :-p I only got 32.5 MPG on that trip ...

Ventilated Seats Anybody?
neod192 replied to smr2112's topic in Interior Trim, Seats, Seat Belts & Covers
Yup, I found it and edited my post :) That's the 3rd printing for the gas Fusion - the date on it is February 2013. I was looking at the Hybrid manual and 2nd printing for the gas one (November 2012). -

I see it in the 3rd printing of the gas Fusion manual. It's not in the Hybrid/Energi manual or gas 2nd printing ... The 2014 Fusions will have cooled seats, so maybe that section ended up in the 2013 gas Fusion manual by mistake?
