  1. You have not mentioned the model you have, but if it's the TI model, many have stated the seats in the Ti model are not as comfortable as the SE seats.
  2. Welcome to the 3rd battery club. I'm just at 20,000 miles.
  3. Agreed, I've never seen the red marker in mine and I don't intend to. Now, for my impression of Hilary Clinton - 13.5 or 14.1, what difference does it make?
  4. My 13' FFH has rebooted 4 times since it was new. The MKZh...never.
  5. He tested out his grill shutters on a rental. I wonder if the rental car company knew what he is doing? I can see it now, I want to borrow one of your cars to run it out of gas and see what happens.
  6. The only real differences I have found is the MKZh is quieter . I think the extra sound proofing makes the difference and on the long trips the MKZh is more comfortable over the FFH.
  7. SiriusXM sound quality is on par with your typical AM radio station. - That's on SiruisXM. They compress their media to the point of poor sound quality.
  8. Although there are some states that require lights to be on during certain driving conditions (other than night-time driving) there are no states that have any laws banning DRLs. This is getting ridiculous.
  9. Ford takes a little artistic license with its photos.
  10. No, but they are the same. Mine came from a wrecked 2013 gas Fusion.
  11. The tire fits over the jack accessory kit. It's that easy.....
  12. Robert, I use adblocker and the site is really slow. I's hate to see what it is without it.
  13. I'm seriously thinking of getting one. I have two classic Mustangs, both are investment cars.
  14. The difference is up front advertising are the brochures at the dealer that customers can and should read before ordering/purchasing the car. I certainly did. The owner's manual is not available for review at the dealership - unless you take one out of an existing car on the lot. And, that is just unreasonable. You are flogging a dead horse here. Your arguments just do not hold water.
  15. In late 2012 I was invited to my dealer's factory reps presentation to the sales personnel of the 2013 FFH. I sat in on a three hour presentation and I can assure you there was no mention of the use of chains or cables. I remember the different wheel sizes and options being talked about and much was discussed about the drive-ability of the car and the fact that the front bumper height was low, as one of the salesmen had already scraped one up.
  16. OK, I've been to 4 Ford/Lincoln dealers and asked 6 salesmen, "can I use tire chains or cables in heavy snow conditions on my Fusion hybrid?" All six replies ranged from, "sure no problem" "yes" to "I don't see why you couldn't." Ford really needs to disclose this in their upfront advertising. The posters comment, "It was mentioned in the owner's guide which was available to you before you made your purchase." is just outlandish. No where does Ford recommend reading the owners manual before purchasing the car and suggesting people should do so is really stretching the rubberband beyond its capacity. My time was really not wasted as my Christmas shopping is done and I looked at a number of 2015 Mustangs. I did this in the Detroit area during Thanksgiving week and really liked what I saw. Next step the test drive.
  17. You can call the dealer and ask them to have the car hot shipped. I did this with both my 2013s - the dealer calls the shipping yard and arranges for expedited delivery. This costs them nothing. Mine were both delivered within hours of being offloaded from the rail cars.
  18. "Traction aid devices are not approved for use on this vehicle because the Hybrid powertrain cannot accommodate the additional strain introduced by these types of devices." If this is the case, Ford should be advertising that fact and printing it in their FFH and MKZh brochures. I look at this from a legal viewpoint. There are many areas in the US and Canada that require chains (as pointed out by other posters in this thread). If I lived in such an area and found out, after the fact, that Ford does not recommend anything beyond snow tires, but the local laws do and it was not disclosed anywhere in their advertising, Ford and I would be doing the "legal dance." Most people base their buying decision in advertising and then informing themselves about the product. I'll bet the dealers will tell you that you can use tire chains on the hybrids during periods of heavy snow. I will test that theory out in the next several days and report what I find.
  19. I just returned from a 1,200 mile trip in the FFH. The car performed great in snow in Northern Michigan.
  20. I got a wheel and tire package from Tire rack. My FFH has the 225-50-17 tires and TR recommended the 225-55-17 snow tire. This actually saved me some money over a 225-50-17 snow tire. They fit and work good in the snow. They came ready to install with and all the tire arrived with the correct air pressure.
  21. You must have gotten one that was one of the first off the line.
  22. Two years for me will be December and I have just under 20,000 miles. Knock on wood....I haven't had the issues many on the forum have had. This is a very comfortable car for me to drive and for Thanksgiving week I'll be putting on about 1,500 miles. The only reoccurring issues I have is the one-touch windows not working properly. The dealer will reprogram and I reprogram and they will work for a couple of days and then quit. Between my FFH and my wife's MKZh I think the FFH rides about the same. They both diliver you to you destination comfortable and refreshed. My lifetime mileage is 44.3. No complaints there.
  23. I recently rented a car in LA from Dollar and the contract said I had to fill up within 10 miles of the airport and would have to produce a receipt proving I filled up the car.
