I have the same problem. As i pull into my garage I lose the signal about half way in, and I live where there is alot of overhead tree canopy and always lose the signal. When the trial is over in my Escape I will not purchase their product.

Well the FFH is sold and I see this thread was hijacked by accdi - so I won't be visiting here anymore.

I ordered a 2016 Escape TI. They aren't scheduled to start building them until about 6/15/2015. I have other cars to drive until it comes in.

I put a for sale sign on my 2013 FFH and parked it at the end of my driveway a few days ago. This AM it sold for dealer retail to someone in my neighborhood. Tomorrow I will spend about an hour with him and his wife showing them how all the goodies work. This was really fast.

I'm not going to worry about it. The FFH will soon be history. When I ordered a new Escape today I talked to the hybrid tech and he said that there isn't anything else to do.

Tomorrow, I'm ordering a 2016 Escape Titanium w/ AWD. The FFH will be trade material.

I rated my FFH at about a 6 in satisfaction and the MKZh a 10. The electronics in the MKZh ( the same as in the FFH have been pretty much trouble free. The FFH not so much and both are Job 1 cars.

I went through the work orders....that TSB has been applied 6 times. I've just decided to live with it. The TSB has been applied once to the MKZh and there have been no further issues.

My 2013 FFH has been "reprogrammed" by the dealer no less that 6 times. They will work for a few days and stop working. The biggest issue I have with them is the one-touch up and down. I hold the window switch up and the window goes up...and then automatically goes down. Ford can't fix this.

You're not.... From my own stop safely now experience...my car did not go into "Limp mode." It DIED on Rt I-95 in a middle lane with semis to the right left and rear. :sos:

I have Nushield on both of my cars. I still spray a very small amount on the cloth.

That's why I spray a small amount of eyeglass cleaner on a cloth I got from the eye DR.

The dealer actually had a couple in stock for use in emergency situations.

Picked up the car this AM. They did the recall on the RCM. They also once again applied the TSB # 13-7-11 which reprogrammed the pcm, becm and sobdm.

Yes, the MKZh is notability quieter than the FFH and it has to be the sound proofing. When my wife gets into the FFH she makes comments about the noise, but then she drives the MKZh all the time so she really can tell the difference.

I had already had the PCM update done (on both cars) about 2 months ago. Stopped at the dealer this AM and they said it may be a couple of days before they can look at it. We will see. I don't need a loaner as I have several cars I can drive. This surprised me. They have 3 hybrid mechanics.

Driving in the middle lane of 6 lanes on I-95 in Baltimore yesterday I suddenly got the red flashing message, Stop Safely Now. As the message flashed the car lost power and the check engine light came on. I was able to get to the berm, turned the car off and restarted. I was able to drive the car to my appointment and home again. When I returned to town last night I dropped it off at the dealer. This, I believe in the recall for the PCM. Since the recall came out I've checked with the dealer at least 6 times about getting recall work done, only to be repeatedly told, "we don't have the part." We will see how long this takes.

This seems to be yet another case of the dealer not properly going over the car with the buyer at the time of delivery.

The dealer has contacted the higher-ups about it. I think they are going to do a full diagnostics test. Besides the mirrors, they have re-programed the one touch windows 8 times and they still won't work more than a week. The have also performed the TSB for the off road Nav a few times and it won't fix it.

I took it in this AM. The mirror has to be replaced again. This means the mirror has to be ordered and taken to a body shop to be painted.This is the second time and it's always the drivers side. My dealer says they have not had any other cars with the same mirror issue as mine. Reassuring....not.

Well....I decided to look around and not one of the auto parts giants carry a replacement 12v battery for the fusion hybrids. Looks like Ford may still be the only option.

I was having that problem with the drivers mirror. Then when the car was either started or turned off the mirror would do a Linda Blair routine. The glass just kept moving in circles and then pointed down. Ford ended up replacing the complete mirror. After about a year it started doing it again yesterday....back to Ford. It's still under warranty.

"I'm just wondering if I'm the only one here who finds that trunk lid spoilers make a car less sexy" I don't know. I've never found a trunk lid spoiler sexy enough to have sex with it. :wub:
