My FFH had 36 miles on it when it came of the truck. Remember the famous trips to "off site" storage down in Mexico. I tracked my off site trips and there were three.

Work done at dealership or your old trustworthy mechanic?
hermans replied to Carol S.'s topic in Lounge - Fusion Hybrid Talk
I've replaced them twice on the FFH and once on the MKZh using the Ford coupons...great deal. -
This is normal. In one such dealer trade my car had 117 miles on it as the car was brought from Los Angeles to San Diego. There is always some mileage on the car when it arrives to the dealer from the manufacture. From my experience the dealers hire older retired people to drive the cars between dealers.

Last summer, when I had a blowout the replacement was $199.00 at the Ford dealer. I was glad that I had bought a compact spare.

My wife agrees, she says she has lost a flower or two over the time she has had the car. -
Cruise Control - 2014 Fusion Hybrid

I think that's the wrong shade of green. :) -
Not only the MKZh, but it happened recently in my FFH. The car would not go into EV mode and when I shut the car off the HVB was making noises. This was at just over 20K miles. The next time I drove the car all was well in hybrid land.

What do YOU use for Navigation?
hermans replied to TonyHzNV's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
I use MLT and MFT. I have a Tom-Tom for a backup and if that fails, I have a seeing-eye dog.- 41 replies

Thoughts on Lane Assist/keeping system

Ford even recommends not using it when driving on curvy roads. -
$1.72 here..... :)

For my part the TSB on the one touch windows had been so many times, my dealer and I have given up. It is not worth the repeated trips to the dealer and my having to leave the car there for the day, which causes me much inconvience. It's really not worth the trouble.

I think, starting with the 2013, the technology package in these cars were not ready for prime time. I think Ford skipped a beat with this one.
-
I also had trouble after the update. My auto bright lights quit working and my rear interior light would not go off. Took it back to the dealer and they ran the update again. everything works....well sort of....the one touch windows still won't work and when you hold the window button in the up position the window automatically goes down again.

No need to get dirty. Mine came from a wrecked 2013 in Florida from a salvage yard and they shipped it to me for $25.00. This included the tire, on the rim, and all of the tools in the styrofoam kit. No fuss - no muss - $175.

2014 HyTi Ceramic Seat Bolster Wear
hermans replied to scn101's topic in Interior Trim, Seats, Seat Belts & Covers
The dye keeps wearing through and Ford takes it to an upholstery shop for repairs. The next time the upholstery shop will replace the entire bolster. According to the shop the leather is stretched too far. They stretch the material as much as they can as to get as many pieces as they can. I have no such issues with my MKZh. Better quality leather. -
