  1. For under $1000 (including TPMSes), you could have the 5-spoke 18" wheels that were only available on the 2013-2104 models of the FFH SE. The 5-spoke wheels are in IMHO is one of the most awesome wheel designs ever done. Part Number : DS7Z-1K007-B 18 INCH X 7 INCH SPARKLE SILVER-PAINTED ALUMINUM Just sayin. :arrive_alive:
  2. I really want to replace my lug nuts with the solid chrome lug nuts others here have said they used for replacements. But the after-market lug nuts look much taller, and uglier too, than the OEM lug nuts on my 5-spoke 18" wheels. Have any of you found any shorter, solid lug nuts that would fit on my 5-spoke wheels?
  3. That is pretty much my assessment as well, that the date on the window sticker is when the factory starts processing their paperwork for that specific build, including building up the window sticker, and also when they start getting all of the preassembled part assemblies scheduled and lined up for the build. As far as how long it takes the build to be completed from actual start to actual finish though the factory line seems to usually only take a day or two from what info I have been able to gather. And the date when the vehicle leaves the factory line in a completed state is the build date which we see in ETIS.
  4. If you go to TireRack, and select the "gas" model of Fusion instead of the hybrid version, then select the "S" version of Fusion, then you can "Filter By" the "Diameter", and you can select the 16" wheel size. When I did that, they show there are 49 choices in the 16" wheel size for the Fusion S (gas).

  6. And you didn't even leave us any red, white, and blue cookies to tide us over. ;)
  7. The C-MAX moving ahead of the FFH is what really surprises me.
  8. It is depressing. I haven't seen any FFH-specific ads on TV since during this year's Super Bowl, right before they downgraded the EPA ratings for the FFH. Even the Fusion sales as a whole are declining. I figure it is because the FFH is no longer the newest, flashiest bauble for the general public to glom onto.
  9. It's possible it could be a while before they respond, since it looks like some portions of Ford are shutdown from June 29 to July 13.
  10. That looks like a big goof on Ford's part, since that 500A (Base SE Package) feature list in their online FFH "Build and Price" tool includes features that are normally only found in the either the 501A Appearance Package, the 502A Luxury Package, or the 600A HyTi Package, such as: Fog LampsLeather-wrapped steering wheel/shifterLeather SeatsHeated SeatsRear SpoilerAnd other features That online 500A feature list even includes some features which are definitely only found on the HyTi, like the: Sony Radio10-way power passenger seat. And you know that online 500A feature list is really, really goofed up since it shows this feature below, which we all know isn't even an option on any of the FFHs. Compact spare wheel/tire
  11. Well, I finally reached the BIG 5-0 on my displayed lifetime MPG average, in the dead-middle of the desert summer heat even. :woot: After reading the posts on this forum before I got my FFH in early 2014, I was just hoping I could get 45 MPG, with a stretch goal of possibly reaching 47 MPG. My corresponding calculated lifetime MPGs are at 48.3 at 16,248 miles, and still climbing. :bliss:

Reached 50.0 Lifetime MPGs in the desert summer heat. :-)
  13. As md13ffhguy said so eloquently above, what you have experienced is actually normal behavior for the FFH, especially at these high ends of the MPG ranges for the FFH. Here is a link to one of my posts showing some of my MPG data I have collected and which demonstrates the typical variances I have seen between the displayed MPGs and the calculated MPGs on my FFH, using the fuel pump quantity and odometer reading for my calculations. Sometimes the difference between the displayed MPGS and calculated MPGs is actually on the positive side for the calculated numbers, and sometimes it can be considerably positive. But for my running total lifetime MPGs, the calculated MPGs are always only about 1 1/2 to 2 MPGs lower than my displayed lifetime MPGs.
  14. Hi GrySql, I am curious where you are getting this new info? The latest 2016 Fusion Order Guide, and 2016 Fusion Brochure, both still say the Sony radio only comes on the HyTi: Equipment Group 600A All SE Hybrid Content, Plus: ... - Sony® Premium Audio w/12 Speakers & HD Radio. 2016 Doc links: Order Guide: http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_id=2422 Brochure: http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_id=2401
  15. HB, I'm curious why you would want a Focus Energi, instead of both being electric, a Focus Electric and a Fusion Electric.
  16. Congrats! Yes, these extremely high-tech FFHs can make you feel a bit overwhelmed at first. But it doesn't take very long before you get used to it all, and almost start to see it as you did any of your other cars. Except for the fact it is not like any other car...it is the awesome FFH!!! :shift:
  17. That 65.8 MPGs on your display is super, super impressive! What type of driving are you doing that is allowing you to get such great gas mileage?
  18. Sirius does that intentionally, that is playing the same songs in a daily rotating list, for a certain period of time. One reason is that most people want to hear the hits they are familiar with, and two, hearing the same songs repeatedly gives listeners that comfortable, familiar feeling, just like you said, so it is more similar to how the radio stations have always done it with their playlists consisting pretty much of just the current hit songs.
  19. Swapped out the two Order Guides in the original post above with the new ones dated June 1, 2015.
  20. There is always the possibility of using roadside assistance, but it doesn't necessarily always turn out to be the nice neat solution that we like to picture in our minds. See the story in this post that helps one realize it could take days to get going again in your FFH when using roadside assistance, not just hours, and even possibly having to incur the cost of a hotel room too.
  21. The things we do to make our FFHs happy. :flirt:
  22. It is also showing up for my early 2014 build FFH. However, I don't think I really want the dealership messing with my FFH since my car most likely won't be seeing any road salts for at least the next 9 years.
  23. It seems like to me it might not be all psychological, since if there is more inherent drag while coasting on the 2016s, then for someone like me who does a lot of coasting up to red lights, it would cause me to have to apply some more gas than I normally do just to make it to the red light.
  24. Guess that depends on what is most important to you. 3FA6P0LU1FR167437: Sitting somewhere for 8 months.Active Park Assist with Forward Sensing SystemIntelligent Access w/Push Button Start and Remote StartCharcoal Black Leather Seats 3FA6P0LU9FR289219: Sitting somewhere for 3 monthsHeated Steering WheelNavigation – with SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link® with *60 months subscriptionDune Leather SeatsAnd as far as the $500 difference, I would imagine you could negotiate that off of the 3FA6P0LU9FR289219 FFH too, if that is the one you really want.
