Sorry to hear you let that sales guy get to you ... The car should be less expensive if you custom order it ... but it would take longer to end up in your driveway. The dealer doesn't have to pay finance fees for a custom ordered car and they also don't incur the cost of storing the car on their lot. They just wanted to get rid of the one they had on the lot and did whatever it took to do it ... Also if you were to order a new one, most likely it would have been a 2014 model (which might be a little bit more expensive??). Look at the bright side: you saved a few grand by not going with a Titanium and you're already saving $ on gas:)

Can you post a picture of the damage? I recently ran into a curb with mine (same wheels as yours) and I started researching alloy repair facilities. They can be fixed for about 100-150, depending on the damage. Are you sure only the painted area is damaged - the front of the spokes are polished.

It's perfectly normal to feel like that! Can you post issues pictures of these issues? I had the same problem with the plastic trim piece on the driver door sticking out at the top. The dealer re-seated it and it's been fine ever since.

Also check out the MyTracks app by Google. I use it for cycling and it works great. You can just start the app and lock the screen - you don't have to keep the screen on and kill your phone's battery.

How high is your power demand when this happens (maybe I should go back to your videos and see)? Try and keep it under the 2nd line - that'll help with the mileage as well :)

The entrance to my subdivision is a little bit rough and I usually have my foot on the brakes as I pull in. As the wheels go over that bump, I feel a jerk in the brakes and it feels like the car is moving forward (not slowing down anymore) when that happens. That's the only place where I noticed this and I learned to expect it, so I don't hit the curb on the other side! I wonder if bumps/uneven pavement interfere with the regen brakes ?

Yes, as long as the car is in Park ... There are some kits out there that unlock the screen while the car is in motion, but they're over $400 and come with huge legal liability!

You updates are not automatic. If you don't have navigation you should be able to download the update to a USB drive and do it yourself. SIgn in to syncmyride.com for instructions. You can also have your dealer do the update (recommended).If you have navigation a new SD card is required, so you have to take it to the dealer to get it done.From what I heard, the update can take a couple hours to be applied.

You don't have to worry about it ... Your Energi can already go in EV up to 85 MPH. I wonder if the Energi will get some of the other updates, like the optimized A/C compressor use and the smarter grill covers (you have those, right?).
