At 2:05 you can see the car going in and out of EV as your boyfriend applies pressure to the gas pedal. He has to stop doing that and just keep the pressure constant. The gas pedal is REALLY sensitive and it took me 2 months to be able to apply just enough pressure to increase the demand AND keep it in EV. Think of it as having an egg between your foot and the pedal :) Now I can actually release the gas pedal and have the car switch from ICE to EV mode without completely letting go of the pedal. I thought it couldn't be done when I first got the car, but I figured it out with time :)

That sounds like my car when I first got it. I got 354 miles on my first tank, and my mileage is slowly improving. Check out my fuelly page in my signature. I started seeing better (in the 40's) MPGs after 1k miles and now that I'm close to 3k miles I'm getting more and more trips in the high 40's/low 50's. This car has a steep learning curse and break in period (for both the driver and car).

Anyone had issues with their Weather Map? Yesterday the Weather app & navigation would crash if I tried to pull up the map. I could see the current and 5 day weather, just not the map. After the crash, the navigation would restart and start a new route (luckily it remembered the destination and way points). A MFT restart fixed the issue (I keep the delayed reboot flash drive in my car all the time). Another bug that happened just a couple days before that, when I would browse channels on Sirius it wouldn't scroll up or down - it was stuck on list of displayed channels. A MFT reboot fixed this issue as well ...

You're 2 steps ahead of me: you can receive and send text messages via MFT. MFT won't even read them from my Nexus 4, while it'll read, but not send them from my wife's iPhone 5 ... Sorry I can't help, unfortunately not too many devices are fully compatible with MFT.

That was me! They fixed it by taking that area apart and re-setting all the trim pieces - they didn't replace it with a re-engineered part - and it seems to be fine.

I think I saw that on a very humid/rainy day. Putting the air on defrost cleared it up.

I haven't used my Z-14 yet, but have a few tiny scratches on the door trims. I'll post here once I give it a try as well.

That doc was the manual :) owner.ford.com also has a html version of the manual. The MyKey section is pretty complex, so definitely take the time to read and understand it.

The car knows how many keys you have and won't let you set all of them to MyKey - you have to have at least one admin key.

Turn your T/S on before you start changing lanes :) BTW, when I tried this on the highway in a curse it corrected itself once but the 2nd time it crossed the white line. Had to turn the steering wheel all by myself .. :(

They don't make "bad" ones anymore. They make lots of bad drivers though :) I thought I wasn't a "bad" driver, but 2k miles/2 months later I'm starting to see some good numbers.

Here's my commute this morning. For some reason I felt like I was tailgated all the way to work and didn't go as smooth as I usually do. Still happy with 47.6 MPG.
