Give the Fusion 4-5 years and it'll feel just like the old Jetta :) I think all cars are great when new and with time they start making sounds, get rougher and not as relaxing. Enjoy it while it lasts :) PS. My Fusion is my first new car and I also love it !!!

Hi, and welcome to the forum! I like to tap the gas pedal just enough to get out of EV mode, then accelerate slowly with constant pressure / power demand. I tend not to pulse & glide, but get up to speed and keep the car in EV (if under 62) using EcoCruise. Over 62, I just set the EcoCruise at 65 and let the battery charge to 80-90%. Once it does that, I see 40-45 instant MPGs. I drive mostly on I-94 around Ann Arbor and M-14 / US-275 and I-696 when I go visit my parents.

Did the headlight recall affect the Hybrids, or just the regular Fusions. The 1.6 engine had a recall as well.

So when is AppLink coming to my Fusion Hybrid Titanium?

I'm assuming you're going to have your friendly dealer fix it for you? Do they have loaners for collision repairs?

I had that problem happen once (and yes, it's a problem). A reboot of the MFT system fixed it. Check out the pinned topic on how to reboot it w/out losing all your settings.

Hey, the EPA tests are done with the A/C turned off :) That energy has to come from somewhere .. use it wisely!

I'm running mine at 44 PSI. The ride is rougher, but I get decent mileage. Thinking of going back down to 37 ...

Sure, but since the car already knew the EV+ location it should turn on EV+ on the way to the parking garage (or at least it used to). So why did it lose the EV+ location? It still knows my dealer and I don't stop there on a regular basis. If the car loses EV+ locations over time if you don't go there, I would think it would lose the dealership before my work, right?

I've had this happen to me and a simple reset using the delayed reboot program fixed the problem. I'm surprised that resetting it to factory defaults didn't fix it for you. You might want to try this http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/6474-how-to-reset-myford-touch-wout-losing-your-presets/

My car lost my work as a EV+ location. Has that ever happened to anyone else? I started parking in a parking garage (to keep it out of the sun & heat), so I have a layer of cement on top of me when I turn off the ignition. That's the only explanation for it losing EV+ @ work. It still knows my home and dealership as EV+, so I know the system didn't rest.

I love being able to use the full site on these phones! The mobile version just doesn't cut it ...
