2015 FFH new headlights bulbs - opinions, thoughts?
MXGOLF replied to lincoln81's topic in 2013-2016 Fusion Hybrid
I have never heard of that brand at all??????? There is a lot of crap on Amazon. Buyer beware. I would get the PIAA ones instead they are very reputable. -
Has anybody changed there stock driving/fog light bulbs to the LED ones? It's a H11 bulb type! The LED ones are different and before I spend $100 I want to know if they will even fit and work. Thanks for your help on this.

;(Yes I have the same problem with my 2013 FFH. I mentioned it a year after I had the car and the dealer tried to fix it but couldn't. I notice it when I have the stereo cranking. It's kind of annoying like the sunglass holder squeaking.

Added some grille mods to my 2013 FFH...hot or not? UPDATED
MXGOLF replied to FooFan's topic in Accessories & Modifications
I did the same lower plastic/fake chrome to my 2013 and love it. I have the fog lights so there is two pieces per side. Around $40 delivered nice. Very easy to install. Highly recommended. -
It's all about the bottom line and money. The world revolves around money. Kind of sad for us but that will make all our Fusions more valuable right! They will be collector items. I don't want or need a SUV!

Ford C-Max & Fusion Hybrid Gas Mileage Lawsuits Combined
MXGOLF replied to Fastronaut's topic in Fuel Mileage
Well the only way I could get better mileage was to use non-ethanol gasoline. It's more expensive but here in Oregon the ethanol gas is terrible for gas mileage. ????? Wonder why the feds make us use it????? I went from 38 mpg/tank to 42-46 depending on the weather. Hybrids don't like cold wet weather and that's what we get in Oregon a lot. It did take me until 10,000 miles to really start working properly even with the non-ethanol gas. -

Ice Storm is the best color. :love_shower:

It does look like the ones with good mileage are in warmer, flatter climates. The gas does make a difference also. Crappy gas won't help get good mileage. 13,000 miles and mine is at 37 lifetime. Bad gas, colder weather and hills in Oregon are part of the problem. I have been putting in non ethanol gas in for the last 10 tanks and it has helped somewhat. Got a few tanks between 43 and 44 mpg. Still not what I had envisioned when I purchased and people are getting 50+ mpg.
-
Nobody answered how you reset the lifetime mileage? I thought you had to unplug the main battery? I have not reset mine at all either. Just turned 10,000 miles last week.

My lemon is still a lemon. I did get 38.7 on my last tank. :yahoo: Not really funny though. Should have given the car back to Ford a long time ago.
-
Ok 4 full tanks of ethanol free and 1 maybe 2 mpg better. Getting 36 mpg now sweet! :( Not. Would love to have ford take this car back but that won't happen. Would have to trade her in and lose my *** on it.

What should we do? Should we trade up for a nicer FFH?
MXGOLF replied to hybridbear's topic in Buying, Leasing & Ordering
I have been following your problems and I hope your new snow queen works out better than blacky. I am really thinking I would not buy another ford personally. I can't afford to trade mine in on another new one and the fact I am still only getting 35 mpg even using non ethanol gasoline is super frustrating. I would love to get a new car but it would not be a ford. This is my first ford since my first vehicle a 64 ford shortbed truck back in high school some 40 years ago. I appreciate all your suggestions concerning my lemon hybridbear very much.- 96 replies

Well I am trying the e-free gas on my last tank and the current one I just filled up with last week. I don't see much of a difference. Could be due to purchasing a lemon and not a real car! LOL It's really not funny. My dealer said it should be good for 3-5 mpg better but I have yet to see it. Not sure what to do now except get rid of the car. LOL Probably won't do that though. Sure tempting as 35 mpg is not near 47.
