The Accord is also a good choice. My dad bought one a few months ago and he loves it. He didn't take it back to the dealer for anything yet (how many FFH owners can say that?). I think the Fusion looks wayyy better and MFT is much better than the 2 screen setup in the Accord. The Accord seems like a car an older person would pick, while the Fusion is young, sporty and classy!

Look at the tires on that car :) I want those on my Hybrid Titanium !!!

I hope that discount is worth it. It would drive me nuts not being able to drop by unannounced on my way home!

Did the Great Lakes Area Ford Customer Service manager give you the correct order number? If you have that and the dealer code (name and state also works) you can chat with Ford's marketing department and they can provide a status and VIN (if available). Just go to the Ford website and start building a Fusion - the chat link will show up in the top left corner (during business hours). I know that laying in the sun is awesome, but please put some sunscreen on so you don't get burned :)

Does the car have any hooks you can tie the bags to - instead of using the net. My Gti has 2 hooks on the rear seats and one on top, so I can just hook my bags to those and they'd stay in place.

I was thinking the same thing! Put 3-4 grocery bags in there and there' nowhere for them to slide to :) Now that I think about it, if we put anything on top of the battery, they'll slide down to the lower level and squish anything in there!

I don't think anyone has taken ownership of the Energi yet, though some are on the way to dealerships or waiting to be shipped. There are some folks talking about it on the Blueovalforums.

That's great and all, but if your car was scheduled to be built next week, they'd already have the VIN and be able to provide it. I think what they meant to say is: the car will be scheduled next week and the build date will be sometime in the future (3/25 or 4/1). I haven't seen any retail HyTis being build any earlier than the week of 3/18. They like to use works like scheduling and building interchangeably, but we all know that scheduling comes first, along with the VIN and then finally the build :)

Hey, does the ScanGause provide more info that a bluetooth OBDII scanner? I bought one recently for my Gti (to check and reset check engine codes) but plan on seeing what it can do on the FHH once I get it.

Try and get a X-plan pin! It's pretty easy to get one by signing up for a membership :) Just look it up on the blue oval forums.

Can't answer your question, but I have a question for you! Did you order it with the car or after the car arrived? Acdii mentioned at some point that if you order it with the car, the hooks needed to install it come installed, but if you don't order it with the car, you have to also order some hooks?

My VIN shows up on FordEtis! No actual build date yet. Window sticker isn't available yet (as expected).

Look up your VIN on FordEtis. The build date will be on the right side in the DD.MM.YYYY (European) format.

My dealership had one in the showroom, but that's the only one I've ever seen.

When did you order? There's quite a few of us that ordered in October/November 2012, so those orders are going to be picked up first. How did you manage to get a priority of 2? I think you mentioned you have A plan, so you must work for Ford :) Did you go in the system and bump it up yourself? lol

Try resetting the SYNC system by pulling out the fuse and putting it back in. I think acii had a similar issue with his '10 where the USB ports lost power and resetting it fixed it. It's not clear from your post if the USB ports still have any power or not. Does it work with other devices?

My sales person called me :) It's scheduled to be built the week of March 18th, we'll know the actual date next week. This is my dealer's first HyTi order :) Ford chat also was able to see the VIN based on my dealer & order #.
