Looking at these window stickers, I noticed the base price went down by $100, same as on the Energi Titanium! The Hybrid & Energi SE are the same.

That one was also built on December 19th, 2012 - same build date as the one acdii posted.

Sure, that's a nice car but it's also at least 15k more :) Ford is legally required to post the EPA numbers on their stickers, so if the EPA test says 47/47/47 they can't put 40/40/40 on the sticker. Sure, they shouldn't have made such a big deal out of it through marketing, but they did. What company wouldn't brag about acing the EPA test?

What zip code/dealer was this ordered for? How do you find that out?

No, it's the software that enabled the C-Max and Fusion to ace the EPA tests. It won't get any better in real life.

She didn't mention the OK to buy and I didn't think of asking.

My dealer just called me and it looks like they're going to start scheduling them on February 28th. This is the first date my dealer actually received from Ford - I've asked them many times before and all they knew was that it's on hold until further notice. Not quite the news we all wanted to hear, but it's better than an indefinite hold :victory:

My X-plan price is $135 over invoice (before taxes and fees). Taxes in MI are 6%, so on a $35k car, that's $2,100. The incentives on the Hybrid are $500+$750 (if you're lucky), so that's still less than the sales tax. If your price is below invoice after taxes and fees, you're a lucky man ! :) Do you get any other rebates besides the 2 I mentioned?

Sounds like that's better than the X-plan pricing. Is it? How did you manage that? :)

I don't think he's pulling the horse trailer and horses with his Fusion. I can only assume that would be more than 2k pounds :) He's going to use a small-ish enclosed trailer to bring food home.

Put a go pro inside the engine compartment looking at the shutters.

I ordered with X-plan - no negotiations needed. My Dora listed the MSRP, invoice and X-plan price. If you don't have an X-plan PIN, you can get one fairly easy by signing up for a club.
