Ambient Lighting
neod192 replied to Wickserv1701's topic in Interior Trim, Seats, Seat Belts & Covers
From what I've seen (while test driving cars) you can turn it on or off or change colors through MFT. Don't know if it turns off on its own during the day. -
I thought I read somewhere that the option to automatically adjust the time based on DST was removed and we have to manually adjust it. It was there on older versions of MFT.

Empower, Inform, Enlighten, or Engage?
neod192 replied to coach81's topic in Hybrid Driving Tips & Tricks
Hey, we want DIB to be rare! It makes our cars unique :) -
Which part of the "Leather-Wrapped Gear Shift Knob" do they not understand? I'm sorry that your Ford CSM is not educated ...

So since my car will be here soon (yay!) I figured I would find out how much I will have to pay for insurance. I quoted both a Gas and Hybrid Fusion and was a little surprised to see that the Hybrid costs more ($82 more in my case)! I know there's the whole hybrid part that's expensive, but hybrid drivers tend to be safer, slower drivers. I would think that would count and make the Hybrid premium similar to the gas premium. I know insurance is different from state to state and I'm "lucky" to live in a state with no-fault laws so we pay more anyway ... but I'm hoping I can get some insight on this. PS. I use Progressive and have no intentions to switch to another company :) Thanks!

The sticker for my Hybrid Ti doesn't show it either. I noticed the HyTi sticker in general doesn't list some of the options the Gas & Energi Ti list. That doesn't mean they're not on the car, just not on the sticker.

Sound System Static/Interference

Soon! But the Titanium doesn't come with s Bose system, it comes with a Sony system :) Gas Titanium owners can't help because they don't have the active noise cancellation. -
I was surprised when you first cancelled your HyTi order ... That said, I think you would be losing too much on the trade-in of your SE to upgrade to the Titanium. A lot more than what your Prius would have depreciated if you waited for the Titanium from the beginning. If that's the case, it doesn't make sense to upgrade. You could also try selling the SE on your own (like acdii) and get more for it than what the dealer is going to offer, THEN upgrade to the Titanium ... Guess it's time to put up a For Sale sign?

The features of my Hybrid Titanium updated in Etis this week and one of them is "With Leather Gear Shift Knob". I wonder if all these Hybrids with the wrong shift knob have any reference to it in Etis ..
-
Nice! Yours was built one day before mine and your ETA is one day before mine :)

No worries, that forum has been dead because nobody saw any Energis, but not it's starting to come back to life!

What's the difference between those and a cheapo ODBII bluetooth scanner paired with the Torque Android app? I have that, but the ECU in my 2001 GTI doesn't have that many sensors to report on. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004KL0I9I/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 How do UltraGauge and ScanGuageII connect to the car - through the ODBII connector?
-
Yes! Last week when I stopped by the dealer someone was picking up their Energi Titanium :) I talked to him for a couple minutes before he left- he had ordered it in December.

Don't forget to water it.

Here's what you want: http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/6163-spare-tire-for-fusion-hybrid/?p=46273 -
Welcome Carlyn! Did you order or own a Ford Fusion?
-
My guess is that he's using the mobile site, so all those buttons don't show up, just the quote button. BTW, this is really Off Topic!

Most of those "YOU KNOW YOU ARE A TRUE Illinoisian WHEN:" also apply to people from Michigan, so they're wrong! LOL.
-
Look up your VIN on the Etis tool: http://www.etis.ford.com. You'll see a build date in the top right corner, in the DD/MM/YYYY format.
-
The build date will be around 3/28, like Acdii said. You can get that from the history of the vehicle visibility report. One of your old statuses was Scheduled to Day" and that day is the tentative day to get your car built. Mine built a day earlier than that :) Sorry, I don't want to post my VIN on the forums. I treat it like my SSN, lol.

Nice to see ya buddy !
-
Awesome! That also means your status changed to "In Production - Sent to plant".
