The problem is it's the same nonsense over and over where K=S which is known as the "Law of Constant Stupidity". You would think somebody would look at this and "TAKE THE TIME" to figure this out because it's the same mistake over and over, is that asking too much?

No it's not harsh, I can understand it happening once because we are all human and we all make mistakes, however after the THIRD TIME it's just plain STUPIDITY. The SECOND TIME I spoke to Nick personally(moderator of that site) on the phone and he assured me that it would never happen again and the database would be corrected permanently. This past Sunday I noticed maintenance happening with this site again and I knew trouble was coming from seeing past experiences. I was always under the impression that if it works "LEAVE It ALONE" and if it's" BROKEN FIX IT" but I see these IT guys if you can call them that take the opposite approach. One learns something "NEW" every day. If the site is not working properly FIX it or get RID of it. When one does maintenance (and I am into computers) one makes sure it is done correctly, not slam blam half A_S. Yes I know I could ignore it because I know I have V3.6.2, but again what is the purpose of that site if it's reporting nonsense? It seems to me that after they do whatever they do, they never check their work completely before opening the website to the forum members. I could have my granddaughter do what they do right now and she's 11.

Again tried calling Ford on 3/12/2014@ 9:35AM "Sorry we are unable to take your call at this time, please try again later".??? Kim, SUPERB SERVICE from ford. Kim if you ever reach intelligence, please make sure this ENTERTAINMENT NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN.

Called Ford this afternoon about syncmyride the problem and getting the correct version, I felt I was talking to a one dimensional object called "THE WALL" . sure Ford Listens

Kim, Just logged into sync myride and for the third time I am informed that I have 3.5.1 version and it was working for quite a while indicating that I had 3.6.2, this morning I noticed maintenance and I knew trouble was coming. I am willing to bet that I am not the only one in this boat. R&R the idiots running that database because it's obvious they haven't got a clue as to what's going on. This thing needs to be fixed permanently or removed.

This is what I did way back in early October when the screwup happened already having Gen2 V3.6.2 in the car Tried this as of 12/23/2013, but nothing happened as of 12/24/2013 and I shouldn't have to be doing this at all since I am not on FORD's payroll.

Kim, Thank you for taking the time to view my posts, I have been on this forum since I purchased the FFH 2013 Hybrid back in March of 2013 and I have learned a lot from these members , eg; Driving light can be activated, Zaino, Opticoat 2.0 and so on. I really haven't (knock on wood) any problems yet in the car and the MPG's have exceeded 47mpg in the spring, summer and fall and I understand the mpg's decline in the winter having previous owned a Honda Hybrid. so to me that's not a problem. I have a great dealer who takes the time to explain things to me and when my seat belt adjuster in rear didn't work they replaced that with no problem other then it took 2.5hours and indicated to me that was a lot harder to do then some other mechanical work. I added accessories as I mentioned in a previous post and there was never a problem with installation or problems after getting the car back(I also forgot to mention that I had the car tinted with 35% all around) However my gripe is with syncmyride and it happened the first time in September I was told that they they lost my data and I would have to use the version checker tool which I did. It did upgrade my version to Gen2 V3.6.2 on the website (all it really is an xml file) and everything was 10-4 till the middle of December. When I checked the site in December I noticed a renovation was going on and I knew trouble was coming and I was back to Gen2 V3.5.1. on the website. Once may be an accident, but twice and to be blunt is constant stupidity and this problem was ongoing since September and nobody bothered to look for a permanent fix. When you call Ford and you get a representative (him/her) and explain version problem you get the response "Have you done a VHR, have you checked in your car the last 5 digits and have you gone to the dealer to verify your version." Nobody at least from my observations has updated these representatives. You may or may not know Harry(Ford Supervisor) and all the responses as mentioned above do not work and he agrees with me.

Murphy, When the update was available which enabled the EV to go above 62mph I took the car in and mentioned to service can you also activate the DRL's and his response was that "if it can be enabled we will get it done" and he didn't understand why the car didn't have this enabled when it came out of the factory. Bottom line was that when the update was done for the EV the DRL's were also enabled once you put the car out of park, and i couldn't have been there more then 1 hour. Your dealer Murphy was either too LAZY or just too DUMB and I suspect the former. He should have taken the time too find out "How to activate the DRL's by calling dealer(s) and the answer that it can't be done is @#$%. I would have escalated this garbage above his head until it got done. My FFH 2013 Hybrid is not a special fleet car, and it so happened I found this car about 4-5hrs from my home on a dealers lot that has everything, i traded there but have my car serviced at my home location and everything that i had added was done at the above dealer (MUDFLAPS, INVISIBLE BRA, ILLUMINATED DOOR SILLS, AMBIENT LIGHTING and Remote Starter) and there never was a problem with installation. For those that are reading this i will provide my Dealer's Location and Phone if you need your DRL's activated and how to do it PAUL MILLER FORD 975 NEW CIRCLE ROAD NE LEXINGTON, KY 40505 (855) 715-3467 My Gripe Murphy is with Syncmyride , my actual update is Gen2 V3.6.2 in my car but a bunch of idiots keep deleting the data in the database which keeps telling me i have Gen2 V3.5.1 and i need to update and i have been thru this twice already. and when you call Ford and explain the problem i hear the same nonsense over and over 1. Do a VHR and this will update the information in the database and my response is "DOES NOT WORK" since i have done more VHR's then i can remember. 2. Go to the car and check information which i have verified as having Gen2 V3.6.2 more times then i can remember. 3. Go to the dealer to have it verified, now he can't do anything other then verify what i already know. When i speak to a Ford Supervisor he agrees with me with everything that i mentioned in 1,2,3 Now to put icing on the cake, i ran a VHR as of 12/23/2013 and the mileage in the car agrees with the website, however my oil life cycle as reported in the VHR Report is 86%, but the reading in the car is 36% and it's keeps telling me that i need to update to Gen2 V3.6.2 and so it seems the IT people at Syncmyride are out for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and Dinner. .

Boat Racer I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900T (Originally T-Mobile) but it's used on the AT&T Network which has Android Version 4.3 and you might try this. Pair your Phone from the Car rather then the other way around. Once done go to messages and it should say message box empty. In my case AT&T has check data which I used and within 10-15 seconds I had a message in the car telling me about data usage which I read and I then tried again but this time I wanted to listen to the message. It was a bit gibberish, not that the sound was off but the message was interpreted differently. Imagine number and texts in the same sentence, a little strange. Probably would have made more sense if it were just text.

Ashley, I know that syncmyride is not your area and as I mentioned the other day the site is down and you said you would mention this to your IT person and I also indicated to you do they have any idea of what they are doing, I also mentioned that the last time they played with that data base they deleted my MFT 3.6.2 and it reverted it back to 3.5.1.and there were QUITE A FEW PEOPLE also in the same boat as myself. Grab your seat belt, I finally got into syncmyride and I found that my MFT update is now back to 3.5.1 so you can imagine there will be some other unhappy people. Please convey this to your IT person and also perhaps R&R so called computer specialists. https://support.ford.com/tools/account/home

Ashley, What is taking so long in updating manage my sync pages, this has been down almost a week and the people who are working on this, do they have a clue as to what they are doing. Last time this was down they lost my update 3.6.2 in the data base as well as many other people who ended up in the same boat as myself.

Thank you, I did the water test with a hose and it flows off like a sheet, however it left water marks, and I removed those spots, this morning we had dew, mist and the car had beads of water, but once it dried I didn't see any water spots. Point being water from the hose has plenty of minerals to cause the spots, but not rain water or dew/mist on your car. It took long because I used detailers/polish and then used opti-coat 2.0. it doesn't really take much to apply and since I have about 70% left I will do her Toyota Yaris when we get two decent days of weather. I did mine at 60F and two days later we got some rain. I used the little blue gadget that came with it although some detailers just remove the black screw on and squirt it on a pad, more comes out and I didn't think that was necessary. Opti-Coat 2.0 is for the consumer although one could use the commercial stuff and the consumer grade take longer in leveling then the commercial grade so it wasn't necessary to rush the job and had it been the commercial one would have to work fast.
