I forgot to mention if you leave the rubber boot on make sure that the tip of the boot is cut off so that the plastic on/off button(lubricated) makes contact with the inner part of the fuel door so that's why it worked with no boot as mentioned in the previous post.
-
I helped someone else with same problem, but left the boot off and her's worked also.
-
This is my case and may not be yours, I had the same problem trying to open the fuel door, and what I did once the fuel door was open was to remove the black boot and lubricate the in and out button with 3 in one oil and also lubricated the boot and once that was done reattached boot and closed fuel door and sticking was no longer a problem.

I don't know if this means anything, but back in late June we went on a road trip for 4 weeks, so the 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid SE sat on the driveway not being used and we had rented a Toyota Sienna, because the FFH was not going to accommodate all the luggage on a 4 week trip. When we got back in late July the FFH started right up but the usual battery message appeared so all I did was hook it up with a battery charger and haven't seen the message again.

I have done a hard reset, but not with the Hyb fully charged and the mpg was around 44.mpg. so today 9/13 I sat in the car with foot on gas pedal till the Hyb was 100% capacity. Turned off engine and then disconnected the Hyb and then disconnected the negative end of 12V bat and waited about 10minutes. Reconnected negative end of 12V battery and then reconnected the Hyb battery, the instructions were to baby the first 10 miles. I drove thru some streets where speed was 35mph and adhered to that and then got on a highway that circles the city in an area where no stoplights were and adhered to the 55mph and the total time was about 32 minutes. Before the second reset I noticed that the level of the Hyb went almost to the bottom of the scale, after the second reset the level is slightly below half and never went to the bottom of the scale. BTW no AC was needed since the temp was between 65 and 70F and both driver and passenger windows were about 1/4 the way down.

Daytime Running lights?
IraF replied to Ric's topic in Glass, Headlights, Fog lamps, Lenses & Window Tint
Called the local dealer last week to see if the DRL's can be turned on. One of the SA'S said no because he owned a regular Ford Fusion 2013, not hybrid and this could not be done as far as he knew. Well today 9/10/2013 I took the 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid SE to the dealer for the Fuel Pump Module to be replaced which I was told it could take about 3 hours and I mentioned the DRL's to another SA from the same dealership and he said if I have that option it would be activated. 1.5 hours later Fuel Pump Module R&R and DRL'S activated(no charge for the latter) The SA could not understand why they just don't activate the DRL'S at the factory. BTW I printed out the picture of the Ford Fusion with daytime running light on and where to find the software for on/off (DRL'S) from this forum and showed it to the latter SA (Thanks GrySql) -
