    • My son has had his 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid since it was new and this just happened to him today.  He said he came out to his car and all the windows were down.  Nothing was stolen, thank goodness.  However, it had rained earlier, so things were quite wet.  He said that his phone normally automatically connects to his car, except for after this happened.  He checked the menu and disabled the feature.  He didn't even know the keyfob could do that.
    • I have a 2012 Fusion Hybrid model with around 70k miles. I wake up this morning and open the car door and notice the dash lights/instrument cluster is not lighting up as usual. I put the key in and the car refuses to move. Everything else works- bluetooth radio, power seats, headlights, etc. It seems like everything works but the dash/instrument cluster. I have already tried taking out the dash and unplugging/plugging back in with no avail. Fuses looked fine when I took a look at them, but I'll check them again. One thing to note, a couple days ago I accidently forgot to put the car into park from drive and I think I took out the key. I quickly realized I messed up and put the key back in and put the car to park. The car was working fine right afterwards and drove like usual. Would this be affecting anything at all? Is there any way I can check if the dash itself has gone bad? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    • Did the restoration last night time. My battery become showing over 11 years of age. Set it again to one yr.  And this morning I took it for the primary force given that making the trade. To layout the state of affairs, it became a 12 mile metropolis pressure that normally takes me approximately 30 minutes. Cold Chicago morning, approximately 19 levels outside . I reset the fuel economy tracker issue upon first beginning the auto, and after resetting it I then permit the car run for about 5 mins with the window defroster blasting and the ICE walking to get the frost off my windows. So I'm certain that has a poor impact on the fuel mileage as it's burning fuel but not surely transferring. I did have the heat running over the course of the complete experience as well. I then started my journey and it did run in EV mode for two or 3 separate brief segments. Once the engine turned into heat it regarded to go into EV mode always at stop lighting, however the bulk of the actual travel became with the ICE. Those 2 or 3 brief segments of EV mode are greater than it has ever completed earlier than......  When I arrived at work, my very last mileage on that ride became 28.7 mpg. That is certainly higher than it has ever been (I regarded to be round 24-25mpg formerly making this precise equal ride). I'd believe if I didn't have five minutes of going for walks the ICE at a standstill while defrosting home windows, and if I did not have the heat running for the complete experience that I'd possibly be over 30mpg...... Which I accept as true with I need to be glad with for city using?  My wager is when spring hits is when I will absolutely word the alternate. Kodi
    • I just purchased my 2016 435i in February and am already having troubles with it. I took it though one of these laser touch less carwashes and the trunk should have opened throughout it in some way. It changed into then filled with water and the tow hook cowl turned into off (which made me observe the water). The light at the dash did not warn me about the trunk being open till I turned into about five miles away. Dealer said it is not protected due to the fact I opened the trunk for the duration of the car wash and consequently the flooding is user mistakes (no manner!). Has anybody else experienced this? Any help moving forward could be appreciated. 192.168.100.1 192.168.1.1
    • There is play in the steering wheel. The central bolt is fastened well and firmly. Why could this be? wheel.mp4
    • What tool do I need to undo the screws on top of the 3.7V cells? Is it a torx screw?
    • I know the main electric wires from the motor run below the center console and come out the back under the rear bench, driver side.   I can assume it's magnetic interference with the high voltage lines. I would recommend using a shielded wire to go from the radio console via the passenger side under the carpet, away from the high voltage wires.   I would also recommend you to ground the amp to the body, in case the negative terminal of the battery isn't grounded well.   Third, in would recommend installing a 1 to 3 Farad capacitor for any amp of 500W or more subwoofer, or just wire a second 12V battery to the stock battery. A 500W system should draw roughly 100-150W continuous (or 10 amps).   My vehicle draws 250W over the 12V circuit, or 12A, but I have led lights. The stock SE version might draw closer to 15A. The stock battery handles up to 50Ah continuous. It does get help from the DC to DC converter, which charges it up with up to about 10A.
    • Where can i find this kit now? Nobody seems to carry it!!!!
    • Interesting problem. According to the diagram, power flows to the lower cushion then to the seat back. If there is an open circuit, then both should not work. But you said the seat back works.  I would check for adequate power and ground at both heaters and check the resistance of both to start with. Compare to the passenger side
