I took delivery of a black 2025 Toyota Camry AWD hybrid this past Thursday. While I'm a bit miffed about a lack of decent Nav features (subscription on LE and SE models), I got Android Auto and Google Maps to work with Sirius. That made me feel better. Straight-line launches in normal and sport drive modes are impressive. It has road sign identification. Speed limit signs are not only detected and displayed as white on black background, but if you are more than 2 MPH over the limit, it turns red. It also will recognize pedestrian signs, stop and yield and more - in addition to the display of speed limit. Welp, it's been a good run. For those of you that stick with FFH and FFE, best wishes to you. Take care, all! <waves and walks off>

UPDATE APRIL 23: About Dec '24, my brotther (2018 FFH Platinum) got a Hyundai Sonata hybrid. So far he loves it and reports they have combined the LVB and HVB in the same structure - eliminating 2 separate batteries. He's not sure exactly how they did it. So tht's 1 FFH gone. Sometime between May 27 and June 13, I'll be getting a new Camry AWD hybrid. Dunno if you're aware but as of 2025 models, Toyota is all hybrid. Ennyhoo, the FFH I have will be going away.

GUESS - bad switch or contact in the brake switch? I'd have a dealer look at it. My son had a door open alert on his kia. bad sensor on door latch and was replaced no charge. Yours might be something like this.

I agree with 2014FordFusionSE. I had my 12v battery replaced and nothing special needed to be done. -
LASFIT LED bulb-done after 3yrs

I'm still on my OEM lights 5+ years now. -
As has been mentioned, tires can affect mileage. You will get the best non-Winter miles on the OEM tread. The closest mileage I've gotten with non-OEM is Goodyear ComfortDrive tires, but even then I lost a couple MPG. If you're in the cold area of the country, the gas formulas change for Winter blends. That will also screw with the mileage. Add in snow tires (if you go that way), there's more loss.

If it gets to that stage, I'll go to Toyota for a new car. They're all hybrid models as of '25 model year.

Key battery low - how to change?
Cobra348 replied to Cobra348's topic in 2017-Current Ford Fusion Hybrid
Damn! Shoulda checked YouTube, huh? The panel with the Ford logo on it is the one I was questioning. My screwdriver was too small, tho. And I had no clue on the battery number. Thanks a ton! -
Started getting the low battery message today. Swapped in the spare so I could change the battery. Owners manual has nothing on HOW to do it, only that it should be done. Taking the bayonet key out, there is an area that allows access to the panel that is opposite the buttons. It was rather difficult so I stopped messing with it until I could find out stuff. Do I have to be raked over financial coals at a dealer for this? I have Intelligent Access - just so you know. Thanks!

Energi forum down... murphy, can you help?
Cobra348 replied to jsamp's topic in Site Feedback and Help
Sounds like the same crap that happened here a couple months ago or so. Hopefully they can get it fixed. -
Article has full list of potentially impacted vehicles - some Fusion/MKZ models in the list.

Anyone know why this forum was down for a while?
Cobra348 replied to Sky14FFH's topic in News & Reviews
This place was screwed up before that ... all text being crammed into the frame at the left where your stats are. THEN there was some sort of server glitch that I got messages about. I almost wrote it off until it was back yesterday or so. No idea other than that ... and no idea who the hell we should contact when things go wonky again. MWR noted the all-in-one-frame issue some time ago ... no one responded. -
If it sort of took over everything, then that's why I don't use it. His description of what it does sort of turned me away from it.

Why is content now displayed in a very narrow column?

<sarcasm follows> Fusion is dead ... why not an owner-based help board, too? <big sigh> -

It's server side and an admin or network guru will have to fix it. It's damn-all frustrating.
