Car needs a good cleaning, probably something splashed on it, dont know, but the car is a mess from this winter. All kinds of grime in the floor mats, the seat backs are a mess from the little snot faces getting their wet boots all over them, drawback of the car seats. I noticed that spot when I posted, but haven't been out to the car yet to look. I need to get the windshield cleaned, its getting that film on it again. Lets just say that once the ice melts inside my garage it may just be warm enough to actually get the car cleaned. Next 10 days show it still being very cold too.

I have not seen this in a long time. Very welcome sight, especially since I was able to drive with the windows down and enjoy some fresh air in the car. Not even climbing the hills deter it from doing well today! :)

This has been the first tank this winter to break 40 MPG, has been hovering around 38 all winter.

Warmer weather for me too. 39 degrees this afternoon and saw 50.0 MPG!! I can't wait until our weather is consistently 50+ degrees. This trip was even with heat on because the sun was going down so I couldn't make it off just sunlight. The overall 30 miles I drove today ended at 46.9 MPG start to finish.

Ain't warmer weather great? I had trips during the day today so the Energi HVB was gone for the way home, and I had to go straight to an appt... so 73 miles, it was 75 degrees, got 59 MPG!

My trip was mostly highway at 55-60 MPH, but with just enough city driving to really bump up the MPG.

My lifetime MPG clicked up to 51.3 the other day.

I noticed an interesting thing on the 2014 yesterday. The trip summary fuel use now shows the hundredth decimal point. I wonder if that'll be in an update for people with 2013's.

The weather here is usually 60-ish degrees and my total mpg has been around 47. I admit that I don't drive it very 'hybridly'.

My best trip yet was 7 miles at 80 mpg when I didn't have any cars behind me. Max speed was 55 mph.

Usually, my trips to work are stop and go and end up at 38 to 43mpg. On the way back, I drive a bit more carefully and get 54mpg without annoying other drivers.

My displayed lifetime mpg just rolled over to 47.0 after 20.5K miles. Actual mpg is 45.1. Very satisfied.

Haha! No. I'm averaging 43.4 which agrees with my fuelly pretty well. I had about 45 mpg on the way home. Not sure why it was less on the way home. Maybe it was more uphill on the way home.

 

I had a bad week during the freak cold spells where I was getting in the 30's but it was <10 degrees most days that week.

 

Really excited about the performance if this car. Just hit 1,000 miles today!

Like I said this is very nice start to a hopefully long happy car relationship.

 

Drove home a slightly different route after meeting with a friend and I broke 50 for the first time this year. No traffic and pretty much driving on ECC between 35 and 55 MPH.

That's ok it was last night around 8:30 PM and I only got 49.3 ;) driving to work this morning.

People don't like to drive in the rain I guess so I290 was really slow this morning and I got a lot more EV which did offset the water resistance.
