smr2112 Report post Posted December 24, 2009 You better got on the X-plan site and copy down the rules to give your dealer. For general information, any state fees, DMV, taxes, registration etc of course are required anddon't related to X-Plan pricing. The documentation fee is $75 max. Anything else isn't allowed...no dealer prep fee, advertising expenses, "markup for the hell-of-it" are not allowed. X-Plan is astandard agreement and if the dealer is pulling this stunt, Ford doesn't take lightly to it. Ford X-Plan @ 800-348-7709 If you own just one stare of Ford stock, you can get X-Plan pricing. You may haveto order to get exactly what you want. I've attached the form, let me know if youget a PIN this way, it's a great deal. And owning the stock since March has helpedpay for the car...take that GM!F&N Vehicle Offer Form and Application for shareholders.pdf
Grey Report post Posted December 24, 2009 Great information (form and the phone number.) I had read elsewhere that 100 shares were required and that there was a 6 month waiting period. Perhaps that information was old or incorrect. Many may not realize that Ford has "Partnership" deals with many major businesses whereby employees can get x-plan just for working for that company. In Atlanta I'm aware that Delta employees qualify for x-plan. There are 100's of other companies that qualify for x plan so ask your personnel department if you qualify. Several states have permitted dealers to charge more than $75 for doc. fees on plan purchases. However Ford compensates the dealership for any excess charges that are permitted/dictated by state or local law. Perhaps the dealer salespersonnel don't realize the process. They can get on their internal web connection with Ford and get the full particulars.

fordfever Report post Posted January 1, 2010 I can't wait - excitement :shift: , my car should be coming mid January. Emailed ford CRC and they said "Our records indicate that the foreign assembly plant has released imported vehicle". I hope that means that it has been built and scheduled for shipping. I am thinking 2 weeks by boat to Hawaii max.

fordfever Report post Posted January 16, 2010 So has it arrived? Hawaii and a new car. Man, some people know how to live;). My build date is supposed to be next week. Getting a little excited myself. Nope, hasn't arrived yet. ETA is January 20th. I hear the stories of mileage getting knocked down because of cold weather, luckily I won't have that situation. But gas prices here are always over $3.00, currently at $3.24 for regular so I'll take a hit at the pump.
fordfever Report post Posted January 21, 2010 Argggghhhh.....Not here yet. ETA is/was 1/20/2010. Maybe I need to relax a bit, but reading the forums just make me want it NOW!! Hopefully my car is at the docks waiting to be picked up. If it's not, then the next boat here is in a week.

fordfever Report post Posted January 28, 2010 Nope, still not here. ETA pushed back to 1/27/2010. Spoke with the sales manager today and they are unloading cars today, but he did not see my stock number on the manifest. So possibly ETA will be pushed back again. Hopefully my car is not listed on the manifest and is there, but highly unlikely.
Herdmaster73 Report post Posted January 30, 2010 It's a shame that Ford can not give customers a website which a person can track the progress of their vehicle after the order adn espically after the VIN number has been recieved. If FedEx and UPS can give a person teh ability to track a delivery of an order alomst hourly, one would think Ford could do somehting along that line. I went to check on my Fusion order yesterday afternoon and I fouind out I knew more about when the car was build then the dealer. Maybe Ford Corp Management and the factories are trying to improve their imagre but Ford really needs to do something about their dealership's performance. If anyone knows of a way to track the shippment of a vechile... please post it becasue the dealer syas they do not have a way to tell me.
soundguy904 Report post Posted January 30, 2010 Ordered FFH 12/21/10. Not the best timing as it was right before Christmas and the Hermisillo plant takes off a week of from Chrismas to New Years. Just got a vin on 1/22/10 and a sticker on 1/29/10. According to the sticker the car was built 1/27/10. Dealer says arrival is Feb. 22 or so.So to build the car it took just over a month. I haven't bugged my dealer too much but they have been very honest with the deal. It really helps to know that the computers update on Thursday nights so I know to call on Friday afternoons and it gives them time to get the info. This is not a huge dealership so I don't think that they have a big allocation, at any rate I don't think the wait time is too long. I agree that it would be nice to have a site to track your order; especially if it could automatically post updates for you. I would like to be able to track my vehicle as it is transported from Mexico to VA. I am very excited to get my FFH. I've been a Ford man for a long time but my 97 Taurus LX with 233000 miles is starting to give up. The new Taurus is nice, but too big and expensive for me this time around. I'm getting the FFH because of the cool technology and the great looks. This forum has been a big help in making the wait time fly by. Now 3 weeks to come up with the financing!! :happy feet:
Sailorman Report post Posted January 31, 2010 (edited) Hi guys ... I've got a 2010 HEV on order ... Dealer just provided the VIN, but it comes up as unavailble using the online query + the VIN. http://services.forddirect.fordvehicles.com/inventory/WindowSticker.pdf?vin= "We are temporarily unable to retrieve an online window sticker for this vehicle. Please try again later. If the problem persists, please contact the help desk for this web site." Assume this means the car hasn't been built yet or the sticker hasn't been assigned. Does anyone know how long it takes before the window sticker is available online. My order went in before christmas. Any info on the how the process works and what I should expect on timing would be appreciated. Edited January 31, 2010 by Sailorman
seamusbleu Report post Posted January 31, 2010 I found out my VIN # on 12/21. I didn't get a VIN sticker to show up on the website until 1/26. I'm sure the two week down time at the end of the year delayed my order. My expected delivery date was said to be 2/8. I'm crossing my fingers, but I got that date a long time ago. I'm just trying to be patient.

I signed the deal Dec 14th and the dealer just gave me the VIN .. they are talking early March for delivery blaming the 2-week shut down of the factory. I signed the deal Dec 14th and the dealer just gave me the VIN .. they are talking early March for delivery blaming the 2-week shut down of the factory.I signed my deal the day after Thanksgiving (11/28 I think). I didn't get the VIN until 12/21. The scheduled build date was 1/18. The window sticker didn't show up on the website until 1/26. The estimated arrival date is 2/8. When I bought it, they gave me a 6-8 week estimate. If I get it when it's estimated, it will be just under 10 weeks. I think my order was affected by the shutdown. So factoring that in, the estimate looks pretty accurate.
lordyourjosh Report post Posted January 31, 2010 I placed an order for mine about two weeks ago (sterling gray with black leather interior, 502A plus remote start). I had the VIN within a week, but I don't have a build or delivery date. Then again, I haven't asked the dealer. Although I'm anxious to get the car, I'm somewhat happy waiting until after the worst of the winter weather is past. In the meantime, my gas guzzling (but very snow-friendly) 4x4 Ranger is doing just fine. In a way I'll miss it, but it's time to move up to better efficiency and luxury, especially since I just don't need a truck anymore.

I was told 45 days for delivery to Canada with another 2 weeks tacked on because of the shutdown. My dealer hasn't been that forthcomng with information so I don't have a build date. Was hoping for early/mid Feb delivery, but it's looking more like March now. Guess I'll keep checking for the sicker online to see if it's built. Can anyone shed any light on whether this means the car has actually been built or is just in the que to be built now. My bar code said 1/14/10 and the window sticker didn't show up until 1/27/10. I wonder why that would be.
