I sincerely doubt it. It's not a simple case of swapping out switches. You would need a driver's door module from a 2011 and who knows if that can be retrofitted to a 2010 or if it would even be compatible the earlier car's system. I'm not saying it's impossible, but you should be aware that these types of functions are not controlled merely by switches.

There was no factory installed remote start for 2007 Fusions. If you have a Ford-branded remote start, it was most likely dealer-installed. 10 minutes run time is normal. I believe it can be changed to 15 minutes. If you do in fact have a Ford RMST, [/url] the manual for the 2007 version. If you have an aftermarket kit, you'll have to find out what brand it is and see if you can get a manual for it.

Not so. I've run an oiled filter on 2 Lincoln LSes for thousands of miles and had no MAF problems. The problems arise when owners over-oil the filters. It's not a case of if a little is good, more must be better.

No, you're certainly not the only one experiencing this. See this thread. I have the issue with my MKZ as well but it seems to come and go, which leads me to believe that it's related to what's on the glass. I haven't tried changing the blades yet.

No. It's not a simple matter of just swapping out the CC panel. The electronics are not there. Also, there have been extensive discussions here WRT getting an outside temp. gauge to work in non-EATC-equipped cars. Do a search under "outside temperature."

You're welcome. The index in the the Ford OMs is infuriating. I just happened to remember it b/c the process is so much more complicated than it was in my previous Lincoln LSes and I'd had to look it up. I don't know why they had to make this so complicated. In the LS you just had to hold the adjustment button down and pull the head restraint up and out. It took 2 seconds and and it was much easier to clean the inside of rear window or fold down the rear seat when they could be easily removed on the fly.

I keep mine at 37. It's a little difficult to tell if these RS-As are wearing unevenly because they looked worn out on the edges when they came from the factory :lol: No undue center wear, though.

It might go away after some driving. I emphasize "might." Also, now that it's gotten pretty cold I notice that these Goodyear RS-As tend to flat-spot. I have a vibration at those speeds also, but it goes away once they warm up.

Yes, they did get ahead of themselves. 2006 Fusion OM: Those FM transmitters are easy to install but a poor solution. There are several aftermarket companies that make adapters that will let you add a direct line-in jack for your ipod. PIE is one such company. If you can't handle the installation yourself, any stereo shop can do it for you. See if you can return the FM transmitter and apply the $60 towards a hardwired AUX input. You'll be able to enjoy your ipod in the car.

If it turns out that your dome light is truly staying on for undetermined reasons, you're better off taking the bulb out than pulling the fuse. At least that way you'll have use of your windows until you can get this repaired. Also, you stated that you checked all four doors and the trunk.. Your Fusion should also have an alarm sensor for the hood. So, make sure your hood is firmly closed as well, although I'm sure you'd notice if it wasn't. Lastly, is the anti-theft indicator in your instrument panel staying on or flashing rapidly? This would indicate a problem with the anti-theft system. I. too, am puzzled by the triple horn chirp.

Ford dealers will generally meet any price on tires. Give it a shot.

My dealer spent 2 hours trying to figure out why my Home Link didn't work. Turned out that Ford switched from Home Link to Lear Car2u in some 2010s but didn't update the owners guide. It was in the shop manual though. Frustrating, but it happens.
