Not as good as some, but happy with this. Central Wisc in not so good temps (30's - 50's). Normal driving: mostly short 3-4 mile trips. I have been resetting the trip meter at fill-ups.

I still miss my Saab. I keep telling my wife that I'm going to find one I can go test drive for fun some day because I miss them so much. Such a SAAB story :)

Yep, he kept both cars on order, the regular Ti is on the lot now, and he change the color of the HyTi to Black. Now that would be something if something happened to my 10 and needed to be replaced and that was the one to replace it. Two black Beauties!

I'll keep it in mind- but that would be a pretty good drive for us (we live just West of Champaign-Urbana). I think we'll try an area dealer first.

Ordered my FFH at Pilson's in Mattoon. Last I checked they had a white plat hybrid se with lots of options. If you buy from them, buy from Chris Nelson and get me referral $$$!

Today was a typical commute day for me, traffic-wise. i got my best MPG to date, and probably typical of what I can expect on my commutes to and from work. And if that proves to be true, it would exceed my expectations.

 

 

Not sure why I can't upload pictures anymore. I've shrunk them all I can...

 

Anyway, got 47.7 going to work and 46. 2 coming back

 

Lifetime up to 42.4.

I've been seeing better numbers overall lately, as well. I'm finding that I do best with the left hand screen on trip information. I reset trip 2 each time and get a rolling MPG average for the trip, which I can use to monitor my overall progress. Somehow I find this easier to work with than the other views, and I'm doing well with it.

Have put 150 miles (in only 4days) on our ffh se (all in town) and are averaging just over 41 mpg. Very happy so far as that is almost double what our old Malibu got. Haven't been on the Interstate yet, probably the middle of May. Almost all of our driving is in town so this will be great for us.

Car showed 82 degrees outside today and it was very humid from storms last night. Wife and daughter were with me and wife complained so I turned AC on the whole time. Battery drained quicker and I drove faster cuz she hates going slow and I still got 50 mpg. I was impressed!

 

 

Also I washed the car in my driveway!

The rain storms up here are nasty, lots of flooding too. Had hail that looked like it had snowed.

Yeah, we had floods and hail at like 3 this morning. I was up making sure our sump pump in our basement was working right. The rainwater was coming in so fast, it just ran for like three straight hours. It couldn't pump the water out fast enough. and the power went out like 6 times for about 10 seconds. This is why I bought a 3000w generator today.

I hope you guys are alright I ditched the hail storm at work and my wife at home. Driving home it definitely rained like crazy which wasn't good for mileage only got 39 mpg today.

Apparently they had 3/4" hail in Schaumburg. ?

Kishwaukee is flooding in Belvidere, and its just about touching the bridge down the road by me. Some of the ditches that had a trickle the other day are rapids. Yeah, that was some storms that rolled through here today. I noticed that the Flex doesn't like rain either, dropped down to 19.8 from 20.3 today.

Took delivery of our Titanium Hybrid today, and the wife got 45.8 on the 28 mile ride home from the dealership. Im happy. Must have a good one.

So, very happy to report that after the first 3 or 4 tanks getting mid to upper 30's the last 2 tanks have been 42 / 43 mpg and the current tank (halfway through) is reading 45. Put this partially down to the warmer weather but also improved driving technique.

Well the temps dropped to 30s again and I only got 40.6 mpg on my 26-mile commute to school this morning in a 19mph crosswind, so I traded my FFH in for a Lexus Hybrid. Sorry but Ford screwed me. Im gonna make it my life's work from here on out to make sure as few people as possible waste money on this terrible piece of shit car and Ford gets punished for its life-shattering deception.

Damn, last 2 tanks have been 46.7 and 46.4 respectively. EPA IS 47! What gives? I guess I am going to have to spend many more thousand dollars and get a Lexus hybrid also! Damn you FORDMOCO... And YOU made me make this bad decision to run out and buy this piece of crap with out any due dilligence... You are gonna pay and pay dearly!
