70,500 as of this afternoon (got a job in my hometown so mileage accumulation has slowed considerably) 10 mile trip with a few stop lights, and 50 - 70 mph speeds and my mileage sits around 39.5 couple weekends ago I was on I-10 for a 4 hour trip one way and averaged 43mpg with speeds getting up into the 90's at certain points :shift:

Finally got the car back this evening, service rep informed me that the clutches went out

is it a chirping type noise heard on transition from electric to ice by any chance?

They've said they're replacing the entire ecvt unit

Transmission finally confirmed as dead today with permission to order a replacement granted by Ford. They still can't tell me what happened to it though.

Apparently they know it's the transmission, just a matter of determining the severity. Just relaying what I'm getting from the rep at this point.

They don't know yet transmission guy hasn't gotten to inspect it yet

Just got off the phone with the service rep at the dealer. We are now looking at a new transmission

Pursuing buyback now. Did bring in Ashley on the headliner and that is now in a holding pattern they didn't even acknowledge that the 3rd replacement liner even arrived I only learned that through the agent she referred me to.

I can attest to the replacements being worse. My dealer is waiting on Ford engineering to come up with a solution to all the replacements being wrinkled in the sun visor area.

Lets see I've had the car just over a year and three months. In that time service is as follows 1 month into ownership towed in for a dead battery. Head light recall Fuel hose recall Sync/pcm update Headliner recall 1st attempt Headliner 2nd attempt (2 weeks) Headliner 3rd attempt private shop install (28 days) Windshield wiper motor Delayed/ing 4th attempt at headliner Dead coil/fouled plug last Friday 2/28 Back in shop today for the same issues it went in for on Friday. Total mileage 55,700 Ready to make Ford buy it back.

And here I am pissed about waiting for yet another headliner (4th attempt) that I've been told is on it's way from Detroit since Christmas. At least my car works

Yes I had 49,893 when I dropped it off at the dealer. Bought an extended warranty with it last November so it's covered

2013 yes I lifted the hood no you can't hear it in the bay oil level is fine, no drips or leaks no alerts on display may have inadvertently found the cause this morning when my windshield wipers stopped half wipe on my windshield and no longer functioned, that combined with the absence of previously noted groans leads me to believe it was the wiper motor

just a tick under 50k miles, and this morning when I start it up all I hear is groaning coming from up front, have heard it all day as well as far as driveability is concerned nothing seems out of place, had several small trips all over Houston lowest mileage report was 42.6 with a high 75.3 anyone experience anything like this.

Using eco cruise both ways set to 68 on a 32 mile trip this tonight, and pulled 36.2, and 35.8 mpg

While driving at 70 (the speed limit) on the freeway my mpg gauge shows I'm pulling about 30 mpg altogether

Had the flash done, and after 68, and 40 mile trips I'm convinced this update has done more harm than good. I used to be able to pull 40+ at 72 with the cruise control. Today it was showing barely above 20mpg on the empower gauge with eco cruise on. Trying to keep it in EV as much as possible on the 68 mile trip, and it barely cleared 44. On the 40 mile trip I kept it around 69 the whole trip, and pulled 39.8 mpg. Hopefully things improve

I hit 105 with the wife in the passenger seat one day, it seemed that it would have kept going, but my passenger seat governor kicked in

mine has two levels of compression, first level will get you nothing, then you push harder to reach the second level to get the horn

you found a kit, or just cut the material to match? how'd you adhere it to the plastic?

let me rephrase the brake locks up after it's parked, not while moving though I can drive somewhere, park, get back in to go, and it's locked in place sometimes with enough throttle it will release, sometimes I just pull up on the brake, and it will release been planning on having it checked out, now it WILL be checked out when I turn it in for recall work

this is scary considering my ebrake locks up all the time without a warning light though
