That did not work for me, and step one said to run a VHR to update the Sync site. I did the download, ran the instal, and tried to confirm the update but it kept failing. Once I did run a VHR the entire site updated. Might be a recent change to the site since I never needed one before.

I gave up hope on MFT Applink a year ago or more. When I was truck shopping I was hoping to find a 13 with Nav because they do have Applink, but the 14 has MFT, so Nav was no longer something I was looking for, although I now know without Nav, no Travel link either.

They make car bombs now. Sort of like the bug bombs for a house. Supposed to get into everything and remove odors like cancer stick stink, so might help reduce the HVAC stink for a little while, but as long as mold can still grow it will never go completely away.

Finally got it to run. Had to drive 60 miles with the SG disconnected, then it ran. Now my Owners site is up to date. Need the VHR in order to do any Sync update reporting. All is good now.

Run your hands over the treads and see if they are smooth or if you can feel sharp edges in one direction. If you do, thats a sign of misalignment.

I dont know why they dont have a speed dial for it, they have ICE slots under 911 assist.

Well, thats not it. I pulled it off and was still not able to run a VHR saying it needed 200 miles on it, and it has over 500 now,

Discovered something today. If you have MFT without NAV you dont get Travellink. Oh well.

OK i just had a OH DUH moment! LOL I have my scan gauge hooked up to display actual MPH. Bet thats what mussing it up. After all this time you would think I would know better.

Im still trying to run the first VHR on my truck and it tells me it can't until it has 200 miles on the Odometer, which is over 400 now. Goofy thing, cant update Sync site either until it runs a VHR.

Yeah I did that too, just seems it takes as long to press and hold OK as it does for it to go away on its own,

Here is something to think about though, the AC uses power from the batteries so they draw and heat the batteries, and recharging heats them. Kinda funny when you think about it, turn on the AC to help cool the batteries the the AC is heating up. :) Anyhow, for long battery life it is always a good idea to keep them cool.

Check Crutchfield, they are usually pretty good at getting the correct parts.

It most likely flashes too quick to catch. Thats what happened in mine when the chimes went off. My wife happened to be looking right at the dash when it happened and she caught it before it went away. Transmission not in park. Car wasnt even running when it happened.

I found that if I calibrate the scan gauge to the TomTom, then I can get a more accurate MPG estimate on the Scangauge which is always lower than what the car reports, and it with 1% of actual.

Would be nice if a package could be made with Kicker speakers, amp and sub like they have for the F150. Then again, Kicker makes a dealer installed system for the trucks.

Well after a few hours of cussing and nearly throwing the laptop I finally got the ford owners site to work. It is the same software as the Fusion/Focus/Flex/MKT. The layout is a bit different since I dont have Nav, but the SW version threw me off a bit. It has an update to 3.7 so will get that installed next time I have a long drive.

What is different between MFT in the Fusion and the 14 F150? They both appear to work the same, but the system information looks different.

For some reason that never worked for me. I could press and press and press and it would not go away. That was on any screen that had OK in it, like door open. It worked really good for resetting though, as that is usually what happened after pressing it so many times. LOL

Still having issues with LG, tech has been out again, did not fix it, spent hours troubleshooting with LG, found several leaks he could not fix and LG is still not replacing it. The guy is supposed to be out tomorrow to do soething to send to LG, but I can't even report it to BBB because they have only 2 letters in their name and need 3 to file a complaint. The HD warranty wont cover it while still under factory warranty.

And another reason I chose not to get nav in my new one. LOL I still have an SD slot but it can hold a LOT of music instead.

Well supposed to be out tomorrow with more new parts, so we shall see.
