  1. Must be nice, I've yet to get over 33 MPG since December.
  2. http://consumerist.com/2010/02/consumer-reports-gets-patriotic-names-best-american-cars-for-2010.html
  3. Love the backup camera but the colored lines make it just that much better. I can now back into a parking spot with ease, and know exactly how far back I can go before hitting the curb. Would never buy another car without it.
  4. I'd never take my car to jiffy lube or good year, they always seem to find something wrong. And also with this being a new year model car and a Hybrid, I'd rather have a trained tech doing it. I'm pretty sure at the Ford dealership they have specifically trained Hybrid Techs or so I was told.
  5. I filled up my tank 2 days ago and its been really cold lately in VA, and my average city driving is now 28.5 which is horrendous, I almost think that Ford needs to disclose that you can lose up to 12 mpg in cold weather.
  6. The thing that annoys me is Garmin, Tom Tom etc, you an buy a lifetime map deal for $100 bucks. Why in the world should we have to pay $300+ for 1 map update. When I had my Mini Cooper, it was the same thing but we used to do a group buy. (cough).
  7. This post sparked me to resend my letter today, this time I mailed out 3 copies, 1 to the Ford CEO, 1 to the Ford CS VP and 1 to generic Ford. This time I sent them directly to the coorperate office instead of using the P.O. Box, will see what happens.
  8. Awesome thanks, I just ended up ordering a Linear MCT-3, I'll figure out what I'll do with it after I try it out.
  9. Got a letter today from Ford regarding the break system issue and I should call my dealer to schedule an appointment, the letter say it will take "less than one-half day" to complete I purchased my car Oct 30th, and it was built early Oct.
  10. Not as far as I can tell and Navteq doesn't even list the 2010 Ford Fusion (let alone the Hybrid) on their website and contacting Ford has yield no answer. I've also sent Ford a snail mail letter regarding this and still have not received a reply.
  11. Sure, I wouldn't mind seeing what it looks like. I'm pretty baffled by why ford didn't add it too, what could it really cost an extra $20?
  12. Anyone found a good home-link mod to add to their car? Would like something that small and doesn't look out of place.
  13. I've been looking at doing the Geico warranty but when you factor in the deductible and the fact you gotta stay with Geico its not that good. I've never kept a car more then 3 years but maybe the Hybrid I will and the warranty is transferable. I've been eying a 6 year, 60k for $590 with a $50 delectable. Or $720 with no delectable. This is for the PremiumCare.
  14. Anyone in the DC Metro area taken their car in during either of these blizzards we had? I've kept mine nice and safe in the garage but was wondering how its traction is as I might actually have to go somewhere next week. :)
  15. Are the FFH hybrid floor mats the same size as the normal fusion mats?
  16. I went in expecting to buy a Ford Escape (Non Hybrid) and left at 10:00 at night with a FFH. I paid about 31.5k fully loaded, the biggest issue was getting the finance taking care of, I almost walked out 3 times before they offered me 4.1 APR for 66 months. Though this was also back in Oct. before the car won a bazillion awards.
  17. If they do a free carwash after all this snow I'd take mine in too. :)
  18. I wish the ambient light colors adjusted the gauge lights too. Its nice that one of the ambient light colors is the light blue (cyan) but it always seems odd to use a different ambient color when all the dash lights are still cyan.
  19. I've yet to see a steering wheel you can easily press the buttons with gloves on, you should have seen the buttons on my Mini Cooper wheel. They were way tiny. Any every option that requires buttons can be done either through voice or the touch screen, so I really could care less if the buttons are placed bad.
  20. This is the one issue with Built in NAv systems. Companies very rarely tend to have updates for the software like handheld GPS. On my old Mini they came out with updates, but dealers weren't allowed to give them to people. So we used to have to find them on the internet and flash our systems ourselves.
  21. http://blogs.insideline.com/roadtests/2010/01/2010-ford-fusion-hybrid-about-that-center-stack.html I can't believe this guy is complaining about the FFH Nav, out of almost every car NAV system I've seen, Ford may possibly have the nicest, most fully functional one I've seen or used. At least with their 2010 models.
  22. Where is this displayed? Mine list it if you click on the Where am I button under information.
