You may be able to go that far if you idle down the street with the ac off... At 40mph I can do about 1.5miles ac off

Steve, can you do me a favor and take a picture when its bright out of your headliner by the rear lights with them on? Looking at mine I can see a rectangle where the controls are up there and if I remember right you couldn't see that before.

When mine is finished and I get a copy of the closed ticket I should have an idea for you.. Probably gonna be 2 weeks or so atleast

Make sure they know a lot of the trim is one time use.. That way they have as many parts as they can.

Picked up my car today. Ticket is staying open so I dont have one to show but ill give you guys an update. Smelly AC - Fixed Wavy door wood trim - Fixed Chipped rear outside trim (chipped inside) - Fixed Reprogram for auto down - Fixed Headliner stains - Orange gone, Black spot in front now (another defect) New Problem, rear trim doesnt fit properly - Could be bad ford parts, or headliner just isnt shaped right to fit properly. Horrible buzz in rear door. Was there before but now its worse Im sure there is other things i dont realize were done or I forgot but yea. The Lincoln service manager is out all week on vacation so when he gets back in I have to bring it by for him to inspect everything and get more parts in. As far as I can tell they did everything as best as they could with the shotty parts ford sent them. Guess I will be giving another update when the time comes. Glad to have my car back during this time though, That subaru was burning almost twice the gas. I got 31mpg hwy going back out to the dealership and i averaged 40.9 in the lincoln.

The biggest dealership here has let a couple of there salesman go because they wouldn't introduce sales to the service department. Said it would look bad on them in the future and wanted to keep his customers returning to him in the future for new cars. You know it's bad when you see that.

Ford dealers break more than they fix from my experence. Its why I went with a lincoln this time around. They have ONE tech that does anything to do with trim, interior,body etc. Gotta do it right because you cant blame anyone else. I had a dealer that had to change a battery under warranty. The whole side of the truck had the paint scraped off right next to the battery. Denied it forever and kept putting me off and having me drop off the truck than say they couldnt fix it for one reason or another. When you tell the service manager about an issue and before you leave the shop after he denys the stuff he is screaming at the top of his lungs in the back of the shop. You know he is lying to you. Ford is upgrading there quality but the dealers are killing the rep. Also make sure that you check when you pickup a car that all of the work done is on the printed ford paperwork. That way you can have some form of recourse.

They had a town car. Nope, ill take the subaru lol. And yes, compared to all past experences I didnt get a loaner or I got a POS from enterprise. Im sure by the next time around they will have a MKS or a MKZ loaner. But I hope only time I go back from this point on is for regular service.

Just finally got my call that all the parts came in and they believe everything is done. Want me to come in tomorow and inspect everything. For those wondering. The subaru is a great screw off car. Never had a car as stable, not even my MKZ can compete with it throwing it around on the road. MPG average is 21.. So ill be glad to let it go back.

MSRP on the ford windsheild is $322 if I remember right. So the dealer prob pays around $260 than labor.

On the truck it wasnt MFT, it was the one before that but customer service and my dealer both agreed there was a major "bugfix" version that replaced the version on my truck. Ford wouldnt cover it under warranty though. Ive since gotten rid of it because the radio was having more and more issues and I didnt know if it was just failing or bugs. Online it always said my old version was upto date because they said that version of sync couldnt be updated thru usb for some reason.

I forgot about that post... Wasn't saying it was under powered. Seems like they would have made it faster than a basic minivan tho.

Did you ask your dealer about a ford windshield? I checked into it even tho I didnt need one and its only like $25 more to have the dealer do it with one that says ford on the glass.

Ive tried non-eth. On paper the power of 10% vs 0% is something like 4% more. So expect 4% better fuel economy. I can get non eth for $3.09 or eth for $2,69. Its cheaper to just go with 10% and get less MPG.

Hopefully your dealer doesnt decide to rape you on cost to update sync. On my truck there was issues that ford even admited were because of my version of sync and it was a version that couldnt be updated via usb that the dealer had to do it. Warranty wouldnt cover it and I would have had to spend $89 to have the dealer do it.

Pssh honda reliable... Toyota has a good product but one of the ugliest designs and needs a overhaul.

I would also like to come in and note that on my MKZ it also shows my having the old version after i ran a VHR after the update. Something you may want to note to the team, it appears to be that the newest version reports being 3.5.1 when you run a VHR even though in the software version it shows properly. Maybe its something they forgot to change with the update? (bug)

Got a new update today. Some of the replacement parts didnt fit well so he is going thru a process to get those parts replaced again. Door panel wood trim is backordered but there saying friday for delivery on that. Might end up with the car back still needing more work and they will work on getting all of that together for when I go in for my oil change in feb.
