I have an SE with MFT 3.5.1 and do not have the climate function on the right hand LCD. Would be nice to have but it is plenty convienent on the MFT. -
I agree with previous posts that there is no need to change the oil until 10000 miles. The myth of changing oil at 3000 miles is perpetuated by oil companies and dealers looking to make extra profits. Save your money and oil!

i have the dune leather seats and have also received 5 packs of leather cleaners. Wonder if they are worried about the denim staining them and are trying to be proactive. -

Punishment Tax for Hybrid Owners

The state seems to forget that as had to pay more up front I also paid more in sales tax than I would of for a non hybrid version of the same car. Also due to the higher price my yearly property taxes will be higher too. Way to go VA politicians! -
Thanks for the heads up on 3.5.1 will call my dealer soon and see if they will do the update on my FFH. Still have 3.2.2 and getting occasional issues with it recognising a USB thumb drive. Hope 3.5.1 fixes this.

Congrats Jeff on the Energi, looks sweet. Surprised to see that the Energi Ti gets the same wheels as the SE hybrid though. I would have expected 18" wheels as standard. Cool rides though. Enjoy! Simon

So, very happy to report that after the first 3 or 4 tanks getting mid to upper 30's the last 2 tanks have been 42 / 43 mpg and the current tank (halfway through) is reading 45. Put this partially down to the warmer weather but also improved driving technique. Simon

I too wanted the Dune interior, I did look at a Gas Ti before I went with the FFH, but as the Ti was black interior only I was swayed to the SE FFH.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the FFH. What color and options did you get? I bought from dealer stock, and got all that I wanted and then some. I was impatient so compromise was the order of the day. Simon

I've been reading this thread and listening to my car get slowly worse. Based on this I am actually thinking that this may be bad motor mounts. As the engine or motor torque it applies a twisting force that could be causiing the clicking noise, kind of reminds me of an issue I had with engine mounts on a Ford Sierra in the 1980's. Simon

Mine seems to be worse now it is in the 80's. Will call the dealer and get the issue logged but unless they have a fix I'll wait on taking it in. It is not bad enough get worked up about in my opinion.

HURRAY finally got my shifter replaced this morning. Certainly looks way better than the urethane one. Glad I pursued this, thanks to everyone who has shared info in this thread on this topic.

OK my turn to list my cars over the last 15 our so years. Most recent first. 2013 FFH 2008 VW GTi 2005 Nissan Murano 2007 Subaru Forester Sport 2003 Subaru Forester Turbo, Japan Spec 2000 Mitsubshi Pajero 2000 Volvo V40 2000 Ford Focus ZTS 1998 Ford Mondeo Ghia There were many more before this but the order is somewhat blurred after all this time. -
So my dealer called me earlier today, they have just received a notice from Ford of a customer satisfaction program to replace the misbuild shifter that many of us have. My dealer was very apologetic and somewhat embarrassed that they gave me the run around. So this Friday I will hopefully finally get the correct shifter. Hurray!

Going to ping the Area rep again tomorrow, this evening, I was at the grocery store and there was an Ice Blue hybrid parked next to mine. It was an SE, peering through the window it had the Luxury pack and MFT, It had the leather wrapped shifter, pity it was dark and the owner wasn't around or I would have tried to snap a picture.

Took mine in to get the shifter swapped out, the parts dept had it in stock, when I got there the service dept refused to swap it out as they said Ford would not authorize it's replacement. Escalated to Ford's regional customer service manager, he got copies of the pictures I sent to the dealer and he also refused to authorize it's replacement, saying that leather wrapped meant the boot was leather not the shifter. To busy at work to escalate this currently but some what feeling let down by both my dealer and Ford. Will take my service business to another dealer I think.

acdii, I have read many of your posts here. Seems like you have quite a quandary. Maybe there is a third option that you have not considered. You mention that you need to have a larger vehicle maybe a couple of times a month for hauling larger items and horse feed, so how about buying a 10+ year old f150? You could pick one up relatively cheap, it would be inexpensive to run for the limited use etc, probably cheaper than the loss you'll take on the FFH. storksb

Hi Elle, Having read your comments and those others in this post I would have to recommend staying with the SE at this stage. The depreciation on it would be huge and not be returned with better mpg. Even if you did average 45 in the Ti you would need to probably do in excess of 100000 miles to recover the loss and the extra cost, certainly does not seem worth it too me. Keep the SE, enjoy it and buy a 2016 FFH in 3years time. Storksb

Never heard of a trial package only a trial subscription period. My FFH has all the available Sirius channels not that find anything I want to listen too. Had Sirius in my GTi for a while and only listened to one channel BBC Radio 1, but when that got replaced I let my subscription lapse. Will not be renewing the subscription when it expires this time either.
