I haven't heard anything yet. I will wait and see what others are saying before i give my dealer a call. Had my update done early last week. Interesting to know what this patch fixes/updates/corrects.

I have the same sound/noise as others have described. It occurs pretty much anytime when driving slowly in EV or in ICE mode. Like others, it is fairly easily heard when the sound is reflected off walls or other cars. Mentioned it to the dealer when I had the PCM update, and they said they couldn't duplicate the concern. (ughhh) I mentioned to them maybe something is rubbing with the brakes etc, but I guess since they didn't hear it, they didn't check anything. If it continues, I will ask them to check again, the next time I am in for service (most likely the fuel module recall).

Sorry to hear about the previous issues with oil change cleanup, and this most recent potential issue. Even when I pointed out the differing requirements for each engine, and that I understood if there was some confusion because of it, the dealer still didn't apologize or agree to re do the oil change. They said overfilling it by a quart is not a big deal. After that, I decided to never go back there again, and my new dealer has been nothing but professional for all my service needs since. Good luck getting this straightened out!

I am dropping off my car in the morning to have the PCM update done, and was wondering if I can ask the dealer to update the SYNC to 3.6.2 while I am there? I went to the Syncmyride site, and it says I am up to date (with 3.5.1). Does the syncmyride site have to say there is an update for my particular vehicle before the dealer can update it?

The piano trim on all 4 door of my doors don't fit flush. They are bowed up slightly. The area around the window controls on the drivers door is loose too. I thought about mentioning it to the dealer but didnt yet. They have been very good about other issues so i may mention it to them when I go in for the hybrid software update (whenever that is available).

I will check this out when I am not at work. Very intrigued.

Thank you! My lid doesnt close or drop a lot...maybe a couple inches. It is starting to make a noticeable creaking sound though which doesnt sound too good. I might print the TSB out and see what they say. Thinking they might say it doesn't apply since it doesn't close or fall down much.

I thought i saw a TSB somewhere concerning the dropping trunk lid on vehicles with the rear spoiler. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone know of it, or where to find it? Was thinking of mentioning it to my dealer when i bring the car in to finish the cracking noise TSB.

Just got a call from the dealer that my other thrust washer was in. First time they were sent 2 kits but with only one washer. Car continued to make the noise just not as much. Taking it in Friday. Hopefully no more noise.

Well, it looks like the complete fix will need to be done to cure the clicking noise completely. I drove to the gym after picking it up and all was quiet, but on the way home from the gym, i heard the noise 3 or 4 times on the short trip home. Both decelerating and accelerating. Heard it a few times this morning too. Not as bad as before and it doesnt happen all the time, with less clicks per occurence, but still there. Will call the service advisor just to note my findings.

Got a call from the dealer and they said the noise is gone, but Ford sent 2 sets of parts to do both axles, except they only sent one thrust washer....grrrrr. The service advisor was clearly annoyed at Ford. He said the washers are on backorder, so he ordered it, and I will go back to complete that part of the repair whenever the washer comes in. Will be picking the car up after work.

Yep, i live a few miles north of downtown Carlisle. I saw a black Hybrid titanium on I-83 north, 2-3 weeks ago with tailights on in the morning....loved the look. You go on 83 at all?

Cant seem to find an option for adding a marker using my Android phone. Maybe it has to be done using pc? Surprised to see another person in Carlisle PA though.

33 in July. Never really thought I'd own a hybrid, but driving 18-20k/year, and the Fusion not being a typical Hybrid got me hooked lol.

Checked the owner site and I have the recall notice indicated too (late November build). I have had good to excellent fuel economy so i can't really complain, but if it will somehow get better with this module being replaced, great!

I just checked the Ford owner site, and there isn't a notice for the tsb, but i do have a recall notice for the fuel delivery module replacement. Will call the dealer tomorrow about that.

Just called my dealer about the TSB and he has put my request in to have the part ordered and like was said above, the part is not available to dealers yet. He said it might be toward the end of June, but put in a "Warranty Emergency Order" to see if that will help expedite things at all. What is it was Ford and part suppliers...yikes!

Just got that message this morning. I had to do the same thing...switch to FM then back to get rid of the message once it was done. I think Sirius had channel updates. My The Pulse preset is now channel 15. I think it was channel 10 before.

This was the result of my service visit too. The waiting game for the TSB begins...

Lmao. I sure hope they tell me they fixed something or need to order a part. Still no word from the dealer.

I hope it is just the weatherstripping and chrome piece, since i have my windows tinted and really don't want to have to have it retinted.

My FFH is at the dealer now getting the clicking/cracking noise looked at. Mine happens twice and sometimes 4 clicks/cracks each occurrence. I forgot to mention the hotline number that was opened a while ago. I'll let everyone know what they said.
