Gas Prices?

Top it off. By the time you need gas they will be goosing it up for the July 4 travelers.

Today our Costco is $3.88. The closest stations to home range $4.00 - $4.05. Slowly coming down. :drop:

The price crept up a little here this week. Now up to $3.24. Taking a trip up to West Virginia this weekend, gotta make sure to gas up beforehand.

I suppose as we get closer to the 4th, prices will do their usual dance upwards, then back down again. Hmmm, wonder why that is?

Good to be back in SC now, after a nice visit to Minnesnowta and nodakota. Gas prices here still low, around $3.15 to $3.20 tops. And, we have about the lowest cig taxes too! MN is increasing those by $1.60 a pack I heard.

WHOA! There's a few more in the area with $2.99 or less. I wonder where these stations gets their supply.

No idea -- when I log into virginiagasprices.com the first screen shows the lowest 10 in the state, along with the highest. We also still have some up around $4/gallon in northern VA, which is why I never get gas up in that area.

Looks like the closest pure-gas place is a little south in South Boston, VA.

It dropped a little more after I filled up: $3.31 at my regular station and $3.28 at one a little ways out. Sam's club is $3.25 and Costco $3.28.

California is raising the gas tax 3.5 cents more a gallon starting tomorrow, bringing it up to 72 cents extra a gallon. Looks like I got a hybrid at the right time. state run by Jackasses.

I wonder how much of that gas tax hike will go to support all the illegal aliens. You have to pay for all their benefits somehow. This is one of the reasons I left California.

I just looked and gas for where I'm traveling to (Ohio) this week is $3.08.

Filled up today at $3.19 with 13.2 gallons and just hit 0 DTE as I rolled into the station. Car was left running with AC on Max while my tint was applied (more than one hour).

$3.19 here at Costco, but Speedway jumped from $3.19 to $3.59 yesterday. Actually all speedway stations in the area jumped to $3.59 at the same time. Tell me there's no price fixing going on ... There's no way they all ran out of the cheap gas at the same time.
