Yeah that was my thought too...I sold my other car the 2nd week of December and I'm still waiting for my Fusion. It's ok...I've saved on insurance, gas and any maintenance that might have needed to happen.

Hard to have sympathy...I ordered back in November 2012 and my car finally got built on March 22nd! So you ordered in Feb - that would be equivalent if you had to wait until June - waiting until April 15th or even the end of April for a build date is cake. Enjoy that you probably will not have to wait the 4-5 months many of us have.

Yea, but that was before they were even being built. You had lots of company cuz NOBODY had their HyTi's. It's harder to wait with all of the excited people tracking their BUILT cars on the way to the dealers. But I guess that every car that comes off the line gets me that much closer to mine. Looking froward to all the pictures and new owner reviews to help tide me over while I am still waiting.

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on having your vehicle built. Check out the thread on order tracking tools. Many helpful links there including one on tracking rail car position via an 800# once you get the ettx rail car ID from your dealer sales person.

LOL, IF I dont sell this car before the other one is built and delivered I will have the dealer swap out the wheels. I do like these wheels a lot more than the standard ones.

Acdii: Well, the car doesn't heat up well and gets terrible gas mileage.

I know, I thought about that too. But its a Prius trick that works on the Fusion for getting better cold weather MPG! Oh? Hmm. I didnt have cutters with me when I washed the car to take them off, or I would have.

I would think 2-3 weeks from now. Ford chat, customer service and FB contacts can give you the ETA once it's in the system.

You should also be able to get your ETA from your dealer.

mine was built Monday (3/25)....Ford Customer service told me today that the car

was in transit with a ETA at dealership ( SW Florida) of 4/15...exactly 3 weeks from build date

Sucks man....mine was built the same day and is enroute with a 4/11 ETA. Really crazy how that happens...

You got really unlucky. Seems most are going straight to ramp.

They randomly pick cars as they come off the line for quality testing.

The mysterious field of statistics says what percentage they need to test to have a valid sample.

I don't know if that is what happened but it is a possibility.

If your car arrives with extra miles on it, that is probably what happened.
