Hi all,.. 2019, Hybrid SEL here,.. less than 10 weeks old with 5,700 miles. The drivers seating surface is already showing some 'serious' discoloration on the seating surfaces. Primarily in the seat cushion and in the lumbar area of the bolster. This appears to be discoloration from clothing as I can see the imprint of one of my braided style leather belts (black in color) in the lumbar area. Regardless, the old Fusion went 7 years before I started seeing any discoloration like this. I do not wear anything dyed or wet into the car, primarily regular wool blend or polyester blend dress pants and/or blue jeans and/or a fleece type sweat pant. I DO however occasionally use the seat heater in warm weather to soothe my sore back, but NEVER to the point of sweating in those areas. A) Has anyone seen any type of discoloration with this seating material,.. and B) Do any of you think the use of the seat heater could be contributing to the problem. Appreciate and and all feedback,...

I read that the new 2014 Fusion has a heated steering wheel. That is the one option the Fusion didn't have in 2013 that I really wanted. Does anyone know if this could be retrofitted back into a 2013 Fusion?

Coming off my greatest car ever, a perfect 2010 SEL 2.5 liter w 200K miles and am now 6 weeks into a 2019 SEL Hybrid. Having some very annoying issues with the overall vehicles harmonics. I cannot put anything in the forward console tray or slot, or anything other than a paper cup in the cup holders without things vibrating or rattling against the sidewalls of the various compartments. Same with the door pockets. I've had to felt line the side walls of all the console holding areas,.. and cut some adhesive sheet rubber for each door pocket. The old 2010 would carry anything, anywhere without a rattle, vibration or squeak. Other than that,.. I'm warming up to the car quickly. Any ideas or thoughts are appreciated.

We need to turn off the rear dome light in our 2010 Fusion Hybrid. Unlike the front dome light there is no on/off switch. Is there a way to do this so that we can leave the back door open for several hours at a time and not drain the battery? (Short of pulling the bulb -- which at least one mechanic has said may not in fact prevent battery drain as a result of something called the Body Control Module (or something like that).

I just bought a used 2011 Fusion Hybrid (excited!). It came with leather seats; now, from what I've read, in the 2010/2011 models Ford always packaged "heated leather seats" as the alternative to cloth. I didn't think it was possible to have the leather seats without heat. But the heated seat feature actually doesn't seem to be there -- no buttons are present where the seat-heat controls should be (on either side of the A/C toggles). Is this a possible option? Anyone have insight? (Interestingly, if I pull up the Ford label based on the VIN, it lists it as though it has no add-on options at all. But the car definitely has the leather interior, 6-CD player, and rear DVD system...)

The interior was all wrapped in plastic on every touchable surface when it was delivered. The car only had 2.0 miles on it.© combs 2013

And a full view of the results. I like how the lights aren't very aggressive or bright. I mainly wanted lighting in that center cubby area, and this project took care of that. For about $20, I'm more than pleased with the results. Took me maybe 2 hours, but I think I could have done it faster if I had planned better. -

Just a picture of the position of the lights. Did everything just about the same way Wailer did in his FFH.-
