The right corner near the battery is loose and not fastened down like the other corners. Is yours the same? TIA

Maybe you haven't seen a hybrid owner's manual. There are no headlight bulb replacement instructions. It says "see your dealer". The engine compartment on hybrids is more crowded than a non-hybrid and the back of the bulbs is not visible.

Your car is a 2010 Hybrid? If so it's under warranty solet the dealer repair it for you. I know nothing about this code, but I hope driving it a "few weeks" hasn't damaged something.

It's a Bulb Out Warning light that many people get when installing HIDs.

Does the B.O.W. lamp come on if the trunk mounted third brake light is off? I'm thinking about installing a module to make this brake light flash and I don't want the B.O.W.lamp to flash too. TIA

I too find it hard to believe an extra 1/2 pint of oil would cause any trouble. If the engine "flooded with oil" it should have hydrolocked and destroyed itself.

Go to the dealer and get a locking plug for the gas tank. i did, it's about $20.

i think it's bad that our government thinks we are so stupid that we need this message whereas people in Europe are smart enough to not need it. Just like the sunvisor message . Probably someone won a lawsuit because their lack of common sense caused a problem.

There is also a small deflector in front of the hybrid front wheels.

Are you sure this is not on the inside? Mine doesn't do this. Maybe the dealer put Thr Rain x xx%%@** on it.

If I can only drive 40 miles on the battery and have to fill up every 300 miles I can think of a reason to have the battery. Just but a cheaper ICE car.

The location and directions are on pages 75-76 in my 2010 owners manual and should be in yours too. Turning the screw CCW raises the lights. It's easy to do.

300 miles is a short trip for lots of people. Therefore you'll need another car for vacation travel.
