I appreciate the reply, I didn't realize that the LED's actually limit the light foot print so to speak. I should have thought of that. I guess getting older and chasing prostrate cancer for the past seven years has not helped me much. Have kept the Sylvania Ultra bulbs but they don't really last to long. For the brightness of them its worth it to me. Now my question is, are any of the newer FFH's with factory LED's in the headlamp pods compatible with our '14's? I've a '14 FFH and have been wanting to put LED's into my low and hi beams. Was hoping to find someone else that had done so?

Should this be the case that the seals don't protect well I can always make a new gasket seal out of RTV and make it large enough to fit the air box opening. I can do some easy stuff like that, I just can't crawl around on the floor and or bend over any more with what I have going on medical now.

Went to NAPA auto parts begining 03March18. Ordered from them a K & N airfilter for the ICE. Couple days later it arrives, and yesterday was first nice day that I could get out and change the filter over with out freezing or getting rained upon. Found out quickly that the K & N filter did not fit. Found out this afternoon that the K & N not only was the wrong filter but K & N over phone to NAPA said that they do not even make a filter for the 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid. I looked online yesterday for the K & N and they had what looked to be the right one to fit my car. Has anyone orded a K & N airfilter for the ICE and if so, what part number did it come with that fit the car? Thanks in advance. :)

The steering wheel has came loose a couple years ago. Fixed on my own dime.

I second longer door and better opening for entry and exit, and wtf with the cabin air filter that is as bad as changing the oil. Would really like a 2 door convertible while your at it.

Ok I don't know what the manufacture was intending so don't shoot the messenger. I'm thinking that is could be like an absorbtion panel for the intake pulse to not make so much noise? That is my SWAG. Any one else?

The other day started my 2014 FFH and drove away. Noticed the "Check Engine Light" (CEL) was on. I had to find out if my old scan tool worked, only went up to 2004. And I finally got the scan tool to communicate with the FFH and check out which code was set, I deleted the code and it reset the CEL. Something to do with a exhaust cam tension adjuster? P0013. I checked the oil, it was not bad and covered the two holes in the end of dip stick. Had not seen the CEL come back yet. Has anyone seen the P0013 code set before?

Mine has started up with in the last couple thousand miles or so. presntly have over 78xxx.xx miles on clock and I feel it could clear up with new plugs.

I have been so spoiled now that I'm handicapped and having the dealership do all my maintenance. I don't even bother checking the oil. They will tell me if it's over or under the mark. It is to be noted that I do carry a can or two of extra oil should an oil light come on.

You can go to a "hobby shop" and buy a piece for "piano wire" with same diameter as clip on other head light and bend a new one its not that hard to do.

Mine has just had evap can and tank down tube changed last week have been going into service all month (Aug2016) to get this service light fixed. Nothing in "E" menu on dash either. I'm thinking that its a lemon law candidate for Virginia (my state). Out of warranty and has 54229.0 miles. I know this tread is pretty old for my 2014 FFH, I need as much info as can find. Other wise love the car and she runs great.

My dealership service dept has said that it can not be done. I'm glad I had the DLR's activated. I guess that if someone wanted Daytime Rear Back up lamps activated we would have another 20 something page thread?

I'm running 3M™ Crystalline Automotive Film its excellent. Cost a lot and is not dark like inside of a cat, it reflects heat, and worked great while was in Florida. Ok, last thursday brought my '14 FFH into dealer service for tire rotation, free state inspection, free first oil change even though I have changed the oil twice with Amsoil previously. With my cancer and my back and all this cold I had the service dept do it. Additionally told them the CD came out of player and just sits there like its sticking out it tongue at you. When you attempted to push it back into the player it had all kinds of resistance. Get car back later that afternoon, all done except an "audio control" module on order for the CD issue. Drive home and its on FM1. Get home select XM, and the radio screen tells me their is no service. I called XM, they say oh, it was transferred to my 2013 this morning. I explained to the woman in what ever country she is call centering from, I do not own a '13, this is a '14. I want to know who authorized this change. She says, I will go check puts me on "Hang UP". I call back go though all this crap all over again, to speak with someone and explained what was going on and my service was changed from my '14 to someones '13. This woman re-sends the signal and my service is back up and playing like nothing ever happened. I get a call from the dealer service dept and tell them they say that they didn't do it, and I have most likely been HACKED. I'm pissed, when i get back into the house and open my e-mail and see that the XM service changes have two e-mails. One from the '14 to the '13 radio, and the other from the '13 radio to my '14 radio. I'm now going to call XM again Monday and want some more detail explanation of what the hck is going on! I sure would like to know where that other radio number is in the country?

Just another thought, some may dispute. At the new miles on your car, and the cold of winter, the engine is still tight and break in my be taking a bit longer then in hot summer weather. Keep in mind that the ice shuts on and off so its total on cycle is shorter yet than a non-hybred car. I would not be over concerned with it at this time. Just enjoy the car and keep learning the milage will get better over time. If not find the build date and see if it may need a computer upgrade. Can you get the car to run in EV over 70?
