My clock didn't reset unless I just didn't notice a difference it got it back from the gps. I did notice ev+ locations gone, when it first booted up the fuel gauge had a red x for about 5 seconds. My key fob didn't work for the touch entry or the trunk button to close the trunk until I started for about 30seconds than everything began to work again.

I still say from my experience our cars going in and out of ev mode hurts our mpg between 63 and 66mph.. The charging uses more fuel than just running the ICE. I've tested multiple times and once the soc is up I get 2-3mpg more at 70mph since the update.
-
Too bad we cant get info on where they tested at if it was flat, hilly or what..
-
Its weird.. there both really low. I know the today fillup what it should be. But the other one according to the trip calculator should h ave been more too.. i dunno.. 34 just blows.
-
Atleast we dont have the problems they have in europe. I think 50mpg here is around 70mpg there..

I saw what i believe was a yaris hybrid earlier and it actually looked pretty good.. Was too small to be a prius for sure and it has the blue logo and ... on the front lol
-
I dont mind the blue stuff. But the accord is still just that. A blah accord. I think with the bigger battery that would benefit in hilly situations. Engine pushing you up and keeping the SOC high. Based on what I see in the MKZ though charging the battery pulls the milage down on flat land. Hills may help us also. As for the FFH... That happy hybrid logo on the side... LOL I like my little 2.0H

Fusion 1.4kWh battery. Accord Hybrid Plug-in 41kWh Accord Hybrid 6.7kWh Says the accord looses right under 9cu ft of trunk space because of the battery vs the gas model. My trunk is already small, I dont want that lol
-
For those saying they did just like ford. Take a look at the size of the battery in that car. I cant find info right this min but I did before when i looked. Its massively larger than our car has. Trunk space is massively small too. Motortrend in there testing got 59mpg with it tho. http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/alternative/1308_2014_honda_accord_hybrid_japan_first_drive/ Japanese specs, so we will loose some MPG by the fact that everything in the USA gets the software ... with before it gets to our hands even if all it does is makes things worse (Cell phones and crapware are a good example). Ill try to find the battery size info for you guys in a few min.

The drag before was charging the battery. Its the simulation of engine braking that normal automatics have.

That didnt help any. All it did was remove the MPG from that time. The current one is still way too low.

So I messed up last time I filled up and stopped when it clicked instead of filling it up all the way. Now its showing really bad gas milage for the last tank because it cut off 1.3gallons before it was full. Anybody know what i would change to try to fix this up?

My car was a special order for someone else but I think because of the price they used it as the test car for anyone special ordering. They were suprised tho that they didnt have the car sit for over a year. They actually had a 2012 mkz hybrid sitting in the back that stickered around 50k that nobody wanted.

What you said here kinda goes on what I had already said.. At 65ish the ev mode goes on and off and charging the battery uses more than giving it a full charge and just running ICE down the road. Being my battery gauge is exactly the same but Alot of the settings changed back to defaults I don't have much hope.. :/

Revised Tachometer Display for 2014?
Eddie Sessum replied to dmt1971's topic in Lounge - Fusion Hybrid Talk
Dont know about that feature. Maybe they put it on all of them for 2014. Leaves dont just apply to hybrid for driving good. -
Stay without it if normally you drive 60-65mph on the hwy. It actually hurts milage going ev and charging vs just charging and keeping the ICE on. EV assist with the ICE on might not be any major issues but yea full ev above 62 makes your mpg drop a couple.

Has this happened to you?
Eddie Sessum replied to Ignacio C. Tonarely's topic in Lounge - Fusion Hybrid Talk
Dirt bikes on the road within 10 feet in front of me piss off my front sensors when they rev the bike. When I first got the car i would get an occassional beep from the front sensors when it was raining but thats normal from what ive heard. -
Revised Tachometer Display for 2014?
Eddie Sessum replied to dmt1971's topic in Lounge - Fusion Hybrid Talk
That is a pic from a TI gas model. -
I think ford needs to rework this new tune they did to where it will only full ev downhill. On flat roads it should only offer ev assist to the gas engine on slight inclines and recharge the bit its used while going down. Even with the new tune I see the same thing on MPG being worse unless your at a certain speed or higher.
