I bought my 2014 SE Hybrid on the 6th of June and recieved my cheque yesterday.

I bought my 2013 FFH Titanium on 7/28/13 (build date in April 2013) and got my $775 check yesterday. The letter was dated 8/14.Had my VIN on it. I already spent the money on my extended warranty. (I also checked my credit card and it showed the $100 credit! Yay!)

Bought my FFH 11-7-12. Received the check yesterday. Now I can pay my auto insurance.

Mine is on the truck. Will be interesting to see which arrives first, the check or a plane I ordered back in April, supposedly both are "on the truck".

Mine came today, 2014 FFH purchased in Oct of 2013. Odd thing is my wife's came about 2 months ago (2013 C-MAX) and it required a signature.

Maybe he has a PO Box for mail delivery. FedEx doesn't deliver to those. Hmmm. Another mystery to solve! :)

At $3.50/gallon, this check buys me 222 gallons of 87-octane gasoline.

The distance I must drive to use an extra 222 gallons of gas at 42 mpg, versus 47 mpg, is approximately 87,650 miles.

 

Ironically, my lifetime average (per the car's reckoning) is now 42.1 mpg -- just like Ford predicts for overall economy, although I have 1.5 summers and but 1 winter on the odometer (so perhaps not truly indicative of how I'll do over 87,000 miles)

 

Conclusion: Because I hope to drive my 2013 FFH a lot farther than 87,650 miles, I don't think that Ford was overly generous. I guess they could have opted to give me absolutely nothing, so I'm not ungrateful, but I'll not be praising FoMoCo for being overly generous.

Check #2 is deposited. The letter was no different than the first check. I wondered if this letter would reference the fact that we no longer own the vehicle, but it doesn't.

 

Based on the difference in check numbers Ford has processed 59,396 checks between our two checks which were issued 14 business days apart (7/28 & 8/15). Based on the account number & check numbering sequence I'd guess that this is their general controlled disbursement account for whatever supplier payments are handled in Dearborn, perhaps all of them for the US/North America. Since I work in accounting and with our AP group at work it's interesting to see how many checks they've cut in such a short time. The format of the check also indicates that this is their standard check format used to pay suppliers, with space to indicate invoice numbers, PO numbers, plant info, etc.

Got my 2nd check today. The 1st check was on this vehicle http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/7665-that-day-we-all-fear/?do=findComment&comment=67150 so that was a particularly nice treat. The 2nd one was on the 2014 replacement. Going to get some nice toys now.

Got my $775 check today for the 2013 FFH I traded in on the 2014 MKZh last October. Got the Lincoln check on 7/29. More timely than I expected on the Fusion. Thanks, Ford.

Neither of you currently owns an FFH. I meant any current FFH owners. The Fusion Energi checks must be the last ones to get sent out.

 

Jeff - I imagine that you'll soon get the check for your former FFH. And if murphy is getting his FFE check this week then your Energi checks shouldn't be far behind.
