Signed for mine at 9:30AM. I had it delivered to local storefront to prevent missing the driver.

Same here. Thanks to whoever first posted about the FedEx notification thingy. That saved me a few aggravating days of waiting and wondering.

No love here. I'm also having trouble getting Ford to pay on my "Works" Rebate. Anyone else run into this?

Whenever I have used the Works, the dealer just takes the rebate savings off of the price. I have yet to have to mail-in for it

Received my check today! Car built 12/19/12 and took delivery on 5/26/13. Just in time to have a more comfortable vacation this weekend playing Amish in Lancaster, PA.

As for "The Works", I've used the rebate 3 times now and have received my rebate debit card within a month of submitting it online.

Damn you, hermans! My neighborhood uses cluster mailboxes, and mine is located about a block and a half away. Because of that, i usually pick up my mail no more than once a week, maybe once every 2 weeks. Since you posted on June 29 that the "Check is in the Mail", I began making the trek every day in the horrible Houston heat and humidity, just to see if my check was there yet. Grrrr....

Thank you, hermans! Only a few days after this mailbox ritual began for me, I discovered via a mail notice from the bank, that my son had begun to overdraw his account by several hundred dollars. Knowing he would not be able to repay this without fees, I was able to stop this quickly before it got out of hand. I would not have known if I hadn't been "checking my mail". :)

Thank you, SteveB_TX for finally confirming on July 29 that the checks were indeed coming by FedEx and that I could stop my daily sweat to the mailbox. Much appreciated. :)

Damn you, SteveB_TX for later suggesting that Ford was stopping the release of checks to those who hadn't received them yet. And it wasn't even April 1 yet.

And...

Thank you, Ford. :love_shower: I got my check today via FedEx. They left it on the porch, no sig required, I am pleased. (Build date 12/4/12, delivery date 12/26/12, last name "M")

Just for reference, in case anyone is keeping track, the build date for my FFH was 6/28/13. Delivery date 7/22/13.

Acdii, don't worry, Ford will not cancel your check. Their account may be short, so it will only bounce.

It's here! It's here! Time to go to the bank!

I did that with both of my checks purely out of habit. In my business I get checks from attorneys and started that practice when one wrote me a bad check.

Thats mean :(

I'm guessing that your check that's arriving soon will be for your HyTi. I'm thinking that our checks for the cars we no longer have will be slower in coming.

Ford just sent me the loot to buy some 235/45R18 Continental PureContact with EcoPlus Technology LRR tires. :)

At 30k miles my GY Eagle LS2's are close to the wear marks so I'll take this opportunity to get some fresh skins on the 4 corners.

I could push it but I like to have new tires, especially with all these sidewall cuts and other OEM tire issues in this Forum.

The Conti tires have a UTQG rating of 700 AA, so they ought to last a good long time.

By comparison, the GY LS2's UTQG rating is 400 AA, pretty low.

I'll report back in the Tire section when they are installed and how they drive.

BTW, total cost will be>TireRack>shipped>installed = $770.32

I was just going to tell acdii that I hated him because he got notice his check was coming, then the FedEx truck pulled up and dropped off my check. :yahoo:

You two had similar delivery dates, right? And dealers in the same region, correct? Didn't you get your car in the upper Midwest & then ship it to Hawaii?

Perhaps we're seeing a pattern now a little bit.

Received my fuel economy rebate check today....yippee!

Interesting thing is, two of my neighbors, who drove 2013 Fusion Hybrids also received theirs indicating perhaps these are being clustered by zip code/market?

My vehicle is a 2014 with a 11/13 buid date but both my neighbors own 2013's so no commonality on model year.

With the issues I've experienced I pretty much plan to push this and the goodwill payment Ford gave me in consideration for the agony I experienced trying to get the active guidelines to appear, into an extended warranty from Flood. Nothing really tangible but for the peace of mind with no real out of pocket.
