We've had reports of both first & second owners of cars receiving checks in the past week, all over the country, all over the build dates. Have they only been 2013 FFH owners getting checks so far? hybridbear Report post Posted August 8, 2014 I question it since neither of us have received a check on cars bought in 2012. I periodically get mildly concerned too. Especially since we've decided that $1050 of the $1550 total is going to buy some new furniture and the other $500 is going on the car loan. I already took the $500 from the first check for the car loan and my wife wants to buy the furniture item we're looking at now before the sale ends unexpectedly. So, whenever I start to worry about the second check coming I just reread that paragraph from the Ford MPG Label webpage and then I calm down. If we get to September 25th and we still haven't received the second check then I'll start getting anxious. Right now I just count myself fortunate to have received one check already.
