Kaleido Report post Posted August 26, 2013 (edited) I'm a Tuxedo Black here! The only color I've owned on my last 3 cars! Well...they were black, but not Tuxedo. My other cars I could just buy gloss black rattle can paint to cover over my wounds, but these damn Tuxedo sparkles will not allow that, so I'll just have to be more careful. When I bought the car, even before I paid for it I said I want touch up paint!And I got one free. I did see a company that makes Tuxedo Black spray paint, but I think it was like $30. YIKES! FusionRose Report post Posted August 26, 2013 I have a TB not sure that I love it. I wanted DIB, but since DH didn't get the Titanium with Sony radio I let him choose the color. It is my car but he loves to drive it since I only work every other week. The next car will be blue!It just seems to pick every speck of dust and dirt. hybridbear Report post Posted August 27, 2013 I love the TB! I didn't have a big preference as to color as I think the FFH looks great in ALL colors. Since color wasn't important to me I let my wife pick. We walked around the lot and looked at a Fusion in every color and it came down to Ruby Red or Tuxedo Black. Black won because it didn't cost extra like Ruby Red. She continues to comment how black makes the car look classy and more expensive than it is. I would've preferred a solid black, but the metallic freckles have grown on me a bit.I've had a fresh claybar sitting here for 12 weeks now and haven't had enough time to give it the proper care it needs. I haven't even washed it in 3 weeks. I think if I don't get it washed this week, someone will come and take it away from me. djminfll Report post Posted September 30, 2013 The worst part about TB is that is does pick up every speck of dust and road dirt possible. It's really tough to keep it clean. I can't wait for rainy season to come to an end here in FL, no matter how often I wash and detail the car, it seems to rain almost every day and it loses the shimmer after driving it on wet roads.But the best part about TB is that when it is clean, it's the richest, most luxurious color available.
