Eddie Sessum Report post Posted August 13, 2013 I keep seeing all these TSB in april which is the month mine was built but I cant find the exact build date. Is there a website? I see the people saying its on the window stick from the ford site but for mine its not.
murphy Report post Posted August 13, 2013 (edited) It's not on the window sticker. Go here http://www.etis.ford.com/ Click on Vehicle and enter your VIN. The build date is in european format, since it's a european web site. Edited August 13, 2013 by murphy 1 corncobs reacted to this

Eddie Sessum Report post Posted August 13, 2013 So it appears i got a 4-27 build date. That works I guess as it puts me past most of the issues other than one recall that doesnt showup because its battery related in under 0*

The build date is in european format, since it's a european web site.Funny, my build date IS on the window sticker - Mar 16, 2015 - which coincides with info I was getting from Ford qa web site. Look on bottom of window sticker where dealer identification numbers are and it will be there ... at least on '15s. EDIT: My car was factory order and not off the dealers lot prescoped. That may make a difference. Edited July 7, 2015 by Cobra348
murphy Report post Posted July 7, 2015 The date at the bottom of the window sticker is normally 7 days before the build date.
Cobra348 Report post Posted July 7, 2015 Welp, Ford QA site stated "in production" on 3/16 which is the same date as on my sticker. These are the stage dates from that site:Date Status02/06/15 Order Processing03/16/15 In Production03/25/15 Awaiting Shipment03/26/15 In Transit04/13/15 Delivered04/14/15 REALLY delivered <== my comment So you're saying that my car was actually produced on Mar 23-24? GrySql Report post Posted July 7, 2015 My Window Sticker says Wednesday, 11/21/12OASIS & Etis both have the build date as Friday, 11/30/12. Sounds like one is the scheduled production date and the later one is when it rolls out the other end. 1 hybridbear reacted to this
Hybrider Report post Posted July 7, 2015 (edited) That is pretty much my assessment as well, that the date on the window sticker is when the factory starts processing their paperwork for that specific build, including building up the window sticker, and also when they start getting all of the preassembled part assemblies scheduled and lined up for the build. As far as how long it takes the build to be completed from actual start to actual finish though the factory line seems to usually only take a day or two from what info I have been able to gather. And the date when the vehicle leaves the factory line in a completed state is the build date which we see in ETIS.
