wacevedo Report post Posted April 16, 2013 Can anybody clarify whether or not the Premium Maintenance Plan is part of Ford's ESP plans or something else that Ford sells for regular maintenance not covered by std or extended warranty, like oil change, etc... If the latter, is that worth buying?
JSKershaw Report post Posted April 16, 2013 It's separate. The dealership might offer you a "deal" if you buy both together at the same time.
neod192 Report post Posted April 16, 2013 Check out floodfordesp.com. You'll see they offer the extended service plan (ESP) and maintenance plans at the lowest prices. They're completely separate and the maintenance plan covers routing maintenance: oil changes, brakes, everything the manual says you need. Here is more info on the maintenance plans:http://www.floodfordesp.com/premium_maintenance.php
shaggy314 Report post Posted April 17, 2013 I'm strongly concisering the extended warranty, but Consumer Reports and others are leery on the maintenance plans. They either make money on you not doing the maintenance or are charging you too much over you getting them done elsewhere or otherwiseas it has to make economic sense for Ford to do it.
