I need a aftermarket 12v battery part number?

I am looking for an aftermarket 12volt battery number. My 12v is damaged and I need a replacement..

I wanted a Hybrid - bought a damaged auto. Easy fix -love the car. Just need a 12v . Dealer wants way more than retail. ! ! !

You don't say how much the dealer wants, after market will probably run $100. The specified battery is BXT-67-R. This is a Ford Motorcraft part number. It appears to be group 65 size deep cycle with SAE posts. But that -R in the part number might mean reversed polarity? Probably unique.

But any battery that fits will do, the 12 battery runs the lights, radio and electronics. It doesn't start the engine. It's 110 degrees outside, so I'm not going out and measure it now.

I'd be surprised if the dealer was much more than aftermarket, plus you get what you pay for. Ford has been very competitive on the usual wear out items like tires and batteries. Just got new tires for our 05 Escape and the local Ford dealer was the cheapest around.

You can get a better battery, with a better warranty, for less money, at an auto parts dealer such as Autozone. . .

Stay with a Ford battery. Autozone, Sears, and all the other batteries are junk from my experience. The only battery I will run is a Motorcraft or an Interstate. And the hybrid battery is NOT even close to a 65 series battery. The 67R is about half the size of a 65.
